This product to me is incredible. I purchased a full kit some time ago and am just now having to purchase a refill for it. Still amazed everytime I add water to such a small amout of the soil as to just how much it literally grows into. But this refill size is perfect for the for container I received with the first kit. These seeds develop super quick as well and my babies, my "cats" both love this probably more than any treat or cat food I have ever given them. In fact Storm, my male cat knows exactly when I planted it, where I put it and watches it every single day to see if it's grown enough yet so he can get into it. "I am so, not making that up." Lol I even forgot where I put it the other day and asked him where did I put that catnip & he is literally sitting right about it near my sink which is where my bay window is & is poking at the ceran wrap I had on top of the planter. My husband was always amazed with him because he said he understands absolutely everything you say. Well? Yes they both do. Call it a gift, every animal I have ever had listens to me because I talk to them exactly as I would a human being. I almost gave a 4 star on the little wooden container, but chose not to because it may have been my fault. It is sturdy but is made of wood. I noticed this time, it did allow a little water, not much to seep through the bottom. So I simply put a paper towel underneath it which absorbed the little excess. Not a problem since I did that. So the container does function well. Just be careful to not put too much water in it. Not sure what to say about the plant variety? It's catnip, cats love catnip. Mine certainly love this since they cannot go outside to eat grass which they will do if they are trying to hack up a furball or have an upset stomach. Mine love celery leaves as well. In fact I have to literally keep moving it because they act as though it were cat nip. But I have recommended this item to a few people and plan to share a bit with my sister who has 3 cats. May get her one as a gift actually. But this works perfectly, it does last a few weeks and guaranteed it is something I know mine love and will eat. The price seems fair for what you get. I still had seeds left over from the first full kit. And now have plenty more. Would be nice if perhaps you could get 5 pods of the dirt because you get a lot of seeds which is very nice. I highly recommend for anyone with a cat or cats, they will love it and thank you for it. Shipping is fast & if you have a Storm like mine, just be mindful you are watching it more than he does. He is ready for this new batch and I am thankful to have it. Thank you so much for creating such a wonderful supplement for cats. I wish I had taken a video of him pointing out to me where it was. That would have been so cool for people to see how 1 cat is a #1 fan of this product. Maybe I will get lucky and catch one, one time. Lol

We bought the original kit a couple of years back and now always use these refills. The product is good quality and I really like that refills are organic and GMO-free. The cat grass helps our cat digest food better and it stops her from going after our houseplants. This is important because not only can she destroy the plants, but they can also make her sick. The kit is easy to use and maintain and the grows grows really fast. The grass helps her with hairballs and it contains extra nutrients and vitamins for her. The price is always good and I will continue to buy this for our cat.

I am someone who doesn't have a green thumb, but I can easily grow this grass. I have five cats, and they go crazy over it. It's organic and packed with the fiber your pets need for healthy digestion and hairball control. Normally I cut it and give each cat a pile to eat, but sometimes they can't wait and start eating it while it's growing. I don't have any window sills I can set it in that my cats can't get to, so I just kept it in a room with the light on and it grew fine.

Easy to use and came with a cute kitty mug to grow the grass in. I found it a little cost prohibitive. I purchased a large bag of seeds and a bag of potting soil. My cat loves fresh grass.

This is a great little grow kit. I have a small pot that has no hole in the bottom from a lucky bamboo, and the little discs of coir this comes with are perfect for that. I know I could do this a different way, but getting this kit is so easy, and once grown, my cat loves the grass!

The cat told me that a diet rich in green leafy vegetables is something that all the famous cats are engaging in. Who am I to argue with the cat. But I said no, it was too much work to grow and harvest organic and healthy cat vegetables. So the cat secretly logged into my Amazon account and ordered these seeds. Suffice to say, it was very easy to set up. Dirt disk goes in an old coffee mug. Put some water on the dirt disk and it triples in size as the compressed dirt absorbs the water. Break up the dirt, add seeds, cover with dirt, water some more, put a plastic bag over the mug .... And few days later an amazing salad bar for the pretentious cat is here!

I have loyally bought this cat grass for years. I had a great system, every 2 weeks I started a new batch and my kitties loved it. It was worth the cost. I’ve tried many other brands and styles. This was by far the easiest, with thick, full grass … until recently. My last few batches have a different type of compressed soil. It does not absorb the water efficiently, it used to instantly fluff up and soak the water. It’s just not as effective, the soil remains super wet and the whole process has changed because of this. Less seeds sprout, the grass is not full, and does not last as long. My kitties are so disappointed. It’s just not worth the cost anymore.

I buy these on repeat. I do not have a green thumb and I can actually grow this grass. I do not use the small mug I also purchased from this company because it gets moldy but instead, I use a larger shallow pot. My cats love this stuff and I really think it helps with furry balls.

It's good. I am not proud to admit I grew the grass just so I could touch it. But it's good.

Wächst mega schnell, ich hab 2 Tage eine Plastiktüte über den Topf gestülpt, nach 1 Woche hat die Katze schon ihre Freude daran👍. Die Haltbarkeit und das auf längere Zeit Interesse der Katze kann ich noch nicht bewerten.

I totally forgot I had these and when I found it the box says it has expired Oct 2024. But I tried to plant it anyway and it’s been 3 days since and I see some growth.
