Awesome value, decent components
This is the first RC car I've used at any price that has ZERO low speed motor/ESC whine. Very cool. Makes for a much more pleasant indoor "toy car" experience. Low speed control is also pretty good. Car rolls to a stop while coasting, and brakes whinelessly and quickly. A+ ESC. The geartrain is a bit noisy though. Push-button steering and throttle rate limits are well thought out, though there does seem to be some expo dialed in, and it can't be changed. Though it uses a single board receiver/ESC combo, like I said, the ESC is whine-free, and that is a huge bonus. The servo is a normal, standard sized three wire servo so could be replaced if needed. The included battery is very cheap, and the plug it uses is cumbersome to work with; I'll be replacing it with another solution, but this does work just fine. Scale details are great! Mirrors pop off upon impact and should hold up to a few re-attachments before breaking. Light buckets included, and the ESC/Rx combo has headers for lights. I don't know whether another transmitter could be used with this board... Effective suspension: makeshfit leafsprings in rear, and piano wire up front for makeshift torsion bar spring. Clever, realistic, but undampened. The front has more articulation, allowing the rear to unload weight from the inside wheel while corning, so cornering, even for a solid axle, is very good. If you load up the rear with weight, it will understeer more. For a little over fifty bones, this thing is a very good value, and a great addition to any collection. EDIT: After a few weeks of playing around and scooping out the electronics, this has become one of my all time favorites. A standard 2s 450 mAh "drone battery" squeezes nicely between the rear license plate and the back of the normal battery box. The battery is too long to fit inside the battery box without cutting the plastic. This thing really comes alive if you wire in a small 400Hz active buzzer to a free channel on your radio and mount it securely to the inside of the body... Though this is "1:10 scale", the car its modeled after is tiny, so this is more like a 1:16 scale car... but since it's so light, it's not unreasonable to use a 1:18 scale ESC for it. Which is what I'm doing. A decent little mini crawler AM32 ESC makes this low torque brushed motor shine even a bit brighter than it did with the factory ESC. You'll have to replace the electronics if you want to work around this car's only real weakness, which is the tiny transmitter with a very stiff steering wheel spring and overall very poor feel. Once command and control are handed over to a competent radio, the massive steering angle and broad range of throttle become much more enjoyable to utilize. I've run probably 20 packs through it and to my amazement, none of the gears have broke, nor has anything else in the drivetrain snapped or wore out. More durable than hobby shop RC cars 3x the price.

Good truck for all ages
My boyfriend absolutely loves this truck! I got it for our anniversary and he plays with it every day. It is noisy but very fast and fun to play with. Battery lasts long.

Darn Tootin Fast Truck
I opened this here truck like it were Xmas mornin. Sure was an early gift for me because I’ve been eye ballin this truck. Such a beauty and she’s quick too. The remote got to small buttons there that toggle the turn radius for the tires and the speed. And then you got the little knob there that helps adjust any tire drift goin on, say it’s going slightly right when you’re just tryna drive straight then you twist the knob there to the left it she goes straight after that. The headlights do turn on but you can’t control that but it’s okay. Off road she drives alright Jusy don’t hit too many grass or large bumps or dirt hills. On pavement or concrete she do go fine but if you turn sharp then she’ll do a little topple over and you find yer self runnin to flip her back but hey that’s all part of the game. Anyways I’ve been rambling too long but see here this truck is worth your money just spend it and do yer self the favor and buy it. She can be modded as well there’s a whole community for it. Well worth my money that’s for sure.

Great car for a great price 👍
I got mine for ~$58 when it was on sale. Can go up to ~9 mph and still be somewhat controllable. Perfect for a trip with smooth dirt surfaces, or just a cruise around the tarmac. Under smooth concrete or slippery surfaces, the back-end likes to slide out if you increase the turning radius and top speed, making for some fun donuts. The body itself is high quality and the headlights are bright enough for a midnight stroll. It sadly, doesn’t come with openable doors or bed, as well brake lights, reverse lights, or indicators, and it can roll over alot if you turn fast on a grippy surface. If you are going light offroading with some rocks around, becareful of the exposed driveshaft since that can get damaged easily. Another thing I noticed is that the battery tray scratches the battery when taking it offroad and going fast. The battery tray is also very tight, making it somewhat hard to put the battery back in. It also came loose one time and opened when I took it offroad in some small rocks. It comes with extra parts for the driveshaft, leaf-spring suspension, and extra stickers. The battery lasts about 25 mins, and takes 2 hours to charge. The remote control is small and does not take up space. It small size is about an Iphone 14 plus, and fits in the bed of the truck. It is easy to figure out, but the (s.rate) on mine, ment that it changes the turning radius, and the (t.rate) chnages the top speed. Overall, a pretty solid choice for a cute and fun purchase, or if you just love kei cars. I Definitely recommend this one. (Note: it doesn’t come with dirt, I’ve just been using it and you can see where most of the dirt gathers on the differential and top of the driveshaft. Also I’ve removed many leaves that have been caught in the leaf-springs, and have caught the exposed driveshaft on alot of rocks. After some use, the lip under the front bumper gets scratched up, hiding the small damage under the car, but the license plate and front bumper still get scratched up alot. It survived “heavy” Southern California rain, which is basically just some drizzle, but it proved well in operating in the wet. For some driving advice, if you go full throttle and then full reverse, the car comes to a stop instead, and doesn’t immediately go into reverse, providing as a braking simulation(and some fun stoppies). It’s better if you just let off the throttle first and then slam it into reverse if you want to go back quickly.

Really fun lil car
This thing is really silly. We kind of love it. I kind of wish the headlights weren't permanently on, but for this price point, it's a neat little car.

Value
Definitely not 1/10 scale, but seriously a great value. Hobby grade, decent aftermarket out there, drifts pretty great, controls are surprisingly precise.

Great overall
Front wheel broke off on the first day (I super-glued it), other than that, it's been super fun and battery surprisingly lasts very long.

NOT AS ADVERTISED
it wasn't the 4WD variant? I got what was described and it's still quite fun, but this appears to be a D14 setup like the D12.
