It's a mouse!
Great mouse with amazing battery life. Pros: Smooth and easy to use Wide enough for long fingers DPI button is inset so it doesn't get accidentally pressed The side buttons work amazingly well and are easy to get used to It can be charged on its dock or while playing via USB-C The RGB lighting isn't too crazy Cons: Charging dock takes up extra space on desk that a typical wireless mouse doesn't The back and forward buttons for browsing are on top to the left of the left mouse button which is unusual The side button layout is awkward at first coming from a MMO mouse plus there are only 6 vs the typical 8 Final verdict: I would not buy this at full price, but whenever it's on sale if you're looking for a somewhat unique mouse with some extra buttons it fits the bill well.

Great mouse!
After nearly a year with this mouse I have nothing but good things to say about it. Itโs heavy enough to feel robust, but light enough to be responsive and fast for flick style aiming. Poll rates are above the rest of the competition. Wireless charging is a simple click in place and using usb-c I can get 60% with a half hour charge. Battery life has well exceeded the 40 hours for me but it does drain faster with more responsive settings and RGB set ups. If you have ICUE, or other rgb prgrams, itโs a flawless set up. The size is a bit beefy and if you have smaller hands (size 8 in gloves) I can see this being a bit uncomfortable for those people. If your like me and flat hand your mouse, itโs no issue, claw people however may get cramps after prolonged use just because it is a wide mouse by comparison. For the price, it is a bit hefty at 150 (when I bought it) and can scare some people off. However if you can snag this up on sale or Black Friday, do so. Iโm my opinion it beats a LOT of the competition. Solid construction, smooth operation, ease of use and set up. All in all, definitely recommend.

Really Comfortable if you have Bigger Hands and Hate Claw Gripping your Mice.
I bought this mouse not because I needed it but because I wanted something more premium to elevate my PC gaming experience. And so far, the mouse has delivered just that, a premium gaming experience. I'm coming from a Red Dragon MMO Mouse which I'll admit I was skeptical, but was honestly a great purchase for the money. I still wanted something more gamer-esque, reliable, and more importantly wireless. So far the ASUS Spatha X has had great wireless connection, a comfortable grip, and decent customizable options through the Armory Crate (ASUS) app. It also allows for macros for those that like/need to set up multiple key binds to one button. The Mouse is a little heavier than your typical gaming mice but it feels really comfortable in my hand as it gives me a greater sense of control when I flick my wrist around. If you are one of those people that "lift" their mouses around quite a bit when gaming, this is probably not the mouse for you as this does require a firmer grip to do so and may lead to accidental clicking of buttons (FYI. the buttons can easily be disabled.). Speaking of the button, they seem a little unorthodox at first but you quickly get accustomed to them (will vary by person though). The side buttons are actually well placed and easy to reach so kudos to that ASUS for that since not all Mice get button placement right the first time around (I'm looking at you G502 Hero). I have had ZERO drop of wireless connectivity in my gaming sessions (Shooters, MMOs, etc.) but will gladly update the review if I experience any in the future. Keep in mind that I also have almost 10 different wi-fi devices around me (6x6 ft) and have experienced no interference of any kind WHATSOEVER which was my biggest worry coming into a big purchase like this. Now price....Is the Mouse worth 150 bones? Well there are definitely other options that work and feel just as great for 50 or more dollars less. I myself almost settled on a g502 x plus which is one of,if not, THE logitech top of the line mouse, but decided against it since it felt a tad bit too small in my hand. All n all, The ASUS Spatha X is a great mouse that will excite even the pickiest PC gamers and if you don't agree, COME FIGHT ME!!!

Excellent replacement for my long-term Corsair mouse
ASUS ROG Spatha X Wireless Gaming mouse is an exceptional choice for anyone looking for a high-performance, ultra-comfortable mouse that doesn't compromise on durability or features. One of the most impressive aspects is the battery life; it lasts significantly longer than expected, even with the RGB lighting fully active. The ergonomics of the body fit my hand perfectly and is effortless to move but also feels remarkably sturdy in the hand, making it a reliable daily driver for long sessions. In terms of performance, the responsiveness of this mouse is top-tier and incredibly easy to tailor to your specific needs. Whether you are dialing in precision for intensive gaming or adjusting settings for a home office, the configuration options allow it to transition seamlessly between professional tasks and entertainment. It strikes a perfect balance between form and function, and I would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a versatile, fast, and aesthetically pleasing wireless mouse.

You get what you pay for
EDITED REVIEW: All the below text still holds true, but unfortunately I will have to update this from a 5-star to a 1-star because this mouse regularly loses connectivity to the base station. Regularly a couple times per day. Absolutely horrendous to have this happen while playing essentially any video game. Very unfortunate, as I otherwise love this mouse. The base station is like 6 inches away from the mouse and it just randomly loses connectivity for about five seconds. I've never had this happen with any other piece of wireless equipment. Some other reviewers say they've ran into the same issue. It is a regular thing, every day it happens. I didn't notice it at first because I wasn't gaming much (other obligations). But for the past week I've been gaming quite a lot and have grown to hate this mouse just because of this one glaring issue. Absolutely awful, this one factor nullifies all the great things about this mouse and makes it totally useless for gaming, unless you're willing to use a wired connection...but there's no reason to pay this much for a wired mouse. I've been a PC gamer for over 20 years. This is the best mouse I've ever used, but it's not suitable for every application. Strictly speaking I would say using this mouse is not suitable for FPS or other high speed games, you'll definitely want to go with something lighter. But for every other genre, this mouse is amazing, especially MMOs. Other mice in this style overdo it I think - too many buttons, for example. Putting 12 side buttons on a mouse makes those buttons really small. I always wanted a mouse like this, that had more than 3 side buttons, but not so many that the buttons themselves were tiny. I also really appreciate the way these buttons are aligned, it's very intuitive and made sense to me right away. It's a heavy mouse. Keep that in mind. The battery life also isn't that amazing, I have to recharge it every 5-7 days or so, but that's hardly a complaint. The only other real negative is the price, but honestly....you get what you pay for. Solid build quality. Highly customizable in the software, which is also easy to use (the LEDs can be very bright, so I shut most of them off). The only thing I wish ASUS would change in the software is allowing us to keybind F13-F24, or other non-existent keys, on the mouse. Basically as it works now you have to keybind to existing keys on your keyboard/mouse. I wish we had access to "dead" keys that aren't used for anything. Other than that, this thing is a tank, all the buttons including the scroll wheel feel solid, and it fills a niche I had been wanting for so long. I really hope ASUS continues making this mouse for a long time because I'm sure I'll buy another one in the far future. Shoot, I might buy another one now and just keep it boxed up in case I ever need it. That might seem excessive, but this mouse is literally the only one in its class. There is no other mouse designed like it, that I have seen, when it comes to the arrangement/size of the side buttons. It is perfect for me, and feels so comfortable. It is a game changer (pun intended). If the price doesn't deter you, and you don't play FPS, this mouse is the one. I can't recommend it enough.

Malfunctioning 4 months later
I really liked the mouse and the concept; the included charging dock was also very convenient and cool. The additional buttons on the side are a bit annoying. They are useful but the design is not the most comfortable. Unfortunately, the mouse started malfunctioning 4 months later. Even though I purchased the mouse 4 months ago, the warranty started running 2 months before, this was a concern, it makes me think that the mouse was probably purchased and used before, returned and sold as new. Update: Asus charges shipping costs to repair the mouse, around 30-40% the price of the mouse. In this case $70 for the fastest shipping and $27 for the standard. If this happens to you, send it through USPS, you don't have to purchase their shipping label. Keep in mind that they might miss a couple of emails that they are supposed to send. In my case, they did not send me the reference number or RMA, they also forgot to send me the address to send it. If you don't send the device the right way they will reject the delivery. They want you to send it inside a box and with the RMA inside the box as well. Do not send it in a bag. Still, I did not like the fact that I had to pay for the shipping, this is an additional cost for the device, making it around 16% more expensive, but they actually respected the warranty and the process wasn't that bad, they have a chat in their website where I was able to contact them very easily, they only asked me a few questions to make sure that the mouse wasn't working, then they asked me to send the mouse to fix it. In the end they were unable to fix it, and they just sent me a brand-new mouse. I was expecting a refurbished one, but this was a brand-new mouse in its original box and sealed. This was way better than I was expecting, that is why I am changing the 1 star to 4. The whole process took around 5 weeks, since this is a mouse I don't think a month is a big deal.

Best mouse money can buy and its NOT THAT HEAVY AS PEOPLE STATE.
I know people are like โthis mouse is sooo heavyโ its just the nerds. Who wanna complain about things. This mouse is overall the best mouse i have EVER had. Totally worth the upgrade from ROG Gladius 2 ive been rocking for years lol. This has programmable buttons. Responsive clicks. You can even replace them clicky mechanical keys very easily. And the mouse has a great surface too. If you have a good quality mouse pad. I dont think you would have any issue sliding the mouse around. Oh the battery. I literally TRIED HARD TO DRAIN IT. Played COD for like 14 hours straight. And then next day did some heavy gaming. Took me 3 DAYS to totally bring it to 20% ๐. such an amazing mouse. Love it tho. Rgbs are also amazing. Different modes love it

An amazing mouse but it is heavy!
Very beautiful, easy to set up the buttons in armory crate software, same you use to control the lighting. More than likely you know this if you are buying this mouse because most use this mouse to complete a full rog high end build like myself. The dogle is the stand itself which I found to be pretty cool, the mouse is magnatized so not good if you plan to use on a metal desk. High dpi pole rating. It is a big and heavy mouse. Kind of like the old school mouses with the big ball on top for scrolling with. But once you get used to it and is comfortable to use and also moves smoothly like it's on a air hockey table. I really enjoy this mouse. Hope this helps.

Good for big hands
Really good, I had been using a G502 since they came out but they are too small. Tried a razer but got severe arm and hand pain. This Asus Spatha X is amazing it's great for my big hand, Instead of fingers being off to the side they fit nicely on the side of this mouse. Only problem I see is the lighting, It uses a lot of battery, With it off I get 3-4 days of all day use, With lighting on the battery needs charging at night

Very comfortable for XL hands. Good quality.
Very happy with this purchase. Great size for XL hands. Switches are satisfying to click through, particularly on top and though the side switches take some getting used to, you do adapt in time.
