Amazing!! 10yr Replaced with Exact New Model, Excellent Quality
I originally purchase in Mar 2019 and it is now November 2019. I bought this carrier in 2009 to bring my puppy Yorkie home. After 10 Years I wanted to get him an identical replacement style because he loved it so much. The unit held up beautiful but it was time for his 10 year birthday. I was elated to find this one at a better price than the original from 2009. It has excellent quality and it is totally collapsible if necessary. The zippers are tricky as they are male to female installation, top and bottom, so it can be tedious to get started, but it still only takes a few minutes to put together. I don't take mine apart, I dont recommend that on a daily basis but it is fine for storage or cleaning. I leave it out with front door open and he just loves taking naps in it. It is so roomy being oval shaped he can curl up in all directions. When I cant find him, he is always in this little condo. I bought several sherpa beds 18" @ $6 on Amazon and they fit perfect. I just toss them in the washer weekly and keep them fresh. He is shy of 7lbs and he has a lot of room, so it can accomodate a bit larger pet. He can see well from 360 degrees, we cant see as well from the outside in but I love that I can stick my fingers through the holes when he is a little anxious, like waiting at the vet and it soothess him to have that human touch. I don't understand the negative reviews. Maybe they didn't install the zippers well, we all have those jackets that you connect at the bottom to zip, its just like that, but just like any zipper, make sure you get the threading going correctly. Mine is well made and high quality, and beautiful. I never had any zipper trouble in over 10 years, or any issue for that matter. For a cat I would leave the top unzipped to jump in and out at home, he could shred through the interior eventually if he is prone to doing that excessively, depends on your cat. For a dog, I would leave the front mesh unzipped and it is his little Igloo. I highly recommend this carrier and you will get so many compliments. It also has a sturdy handle at the top for carrying or securing the seatbelt through it when travelling.

Very easy to store, soft, and cleverly spacious
This carrier functions exactly as advertised, and it's refreshing to purchase a product that truly delivers what a company promises that it'll deliver! It's cleverly collapsible while also being structurally sound to adequately hold its form when assembled for use. Assembly is relatively easy. I confused myself on the zippers for the top and bottom pieces lol But once I understood how the zipper is setup, it was a breeze to finish assembling the carrier. It's very cushioned. There's many advertised 'soft' sided carriers, and they are soft. However, this carrier has built-in cushion or shock absorption in the top and bottom pieces, which is a cool perk. There's no inner cushion though. I purchased a rectangular shaped cushion because I couldn't find an oblong shaped one. It worked just fine though. All the air vents were fantastic during commutes in my car. If your pet feels anxious about outdoor surroundings, I'd recommend choosing a different carrier. This carrier isn't setup for a hiding/safe haven spot while seated in the veterinarian's waiting room. As you can see, I placed my carrier in my English Lop's x-pen so that he'd become comfortable with the carrier. It became his home, and he absolutely loved it! I have since replaced the carrier. A year later, the carrier still functioned the same. The structure remained sound. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the carrier! I was in a bad car wreck that totaled my car, and the way our bodies were tossed around like rag dolls prompted me to switch to a hard sided carrier instead of the soft. But my English Lop just adores this soft sided carrier lol It's his binky!

Excellent All-In-One Carrier
I've had this carrier for one month now and so far it's proved very popular with my cat. I bought it for him because it's small & attractive enough to live in the apartment permanently and doesn't look like his air travel crate which he is terrified of seeing. He is larger at 5.8kg and can not fully sit up inside the carrier so at first I worried it would be too small. Certainly for extended periods of travel it would be unsuitable, and for air travel or any other lengthy trips I would use his air crate. However he enjoys hanging out in it and chooses to sleep in it rather than his comfy bed, so for trips to the vet and cattery I believe it will work perfectly. Some good and less good points: - All in one, can be a carrier, car seat and chill-out zone - Cat loves to hang out in it - Well made, sturdy construction for a collapsible soft carrier - Zipped together easily, I would have no hesitation taking it apart regularly - Zips look like they are good quality and will last - No smell like EVA products often have ---------- - Not large enough for a large size cat for extended travel - Cushion provides little cushioning, I beefed it up with a foam insert - The feet have no rubber stoppers or anything but I added my own from the hardware store - A destructive pet could rip it to shreds no doubt A note about zipping it together: Many reviewers have mentioned that it came with no instructions and was difficult to zip together. This made me wary of purchasing the carrier however it was not my experience with the product. Unless your zippers are defective, if you are capable of starting a zip correctly and you have some concept of what the finished product should look like, you should not have an issue putting it together and taking it apart as regularly as you like and without the aid of instructions. Overall I am extremely happy with the carrier, would recommend to others and would purchase more if required.

Roomy, easy to use
I ordered two of these to replace the old hard carrier I'd had for years, after failing to get one terrified cat into its tiny opening. This carrier is MUCH nicer, with lots of room and a much wider door. (Before we actually used one for a trip to the vet, my cats enjoyed hanging out in them.) It's also collapsible so it doesn't take much room to store it. I like that it comes with a small removable cushion on the bottom, and underneath is a hard surface, so if there are any "accidents" they should be fairly easy to clean up. My cats tend to fight going in the carrier but once at the vet, refuse to come out, so the easy zip top made it simple to just pick the cat up when it was time. But be mindful that you zip everything ALL THE WAY closed, as I witnessed a panicked cat push her head through the unzipped gap at the top and start to force the zipper open to escape. The only thing I would change is the door, maybe make it something firmer that swings shut. Because the door is basically mesh, if you have a resistant pet, you have to zip it as quickly as you can once you close the door on the animal, holding your hand firmly over it, or they can very easily run back out. But overall it was still easier to get my cat into and out of it than my old hard carrier.

Pretty great carrier!
I really like this carrier, mainly for the storage space it saves when you zip it all together! That feature is really cool if you are short on storage space. The one thing that kind of gets me is that the zippers are kind of hard to match up when putting it together/taking it apart. It definitely isn't for the faint of heart! I was able to get it after about 10 minutes of fidgeting with it, but once I got it together it was very sturdy and my cat really liked it. I like how it's rounder and gives my cat more space to lay down instead of the standard rectangle carriers. The front door unzips and so does the top - both are good for putting your animal inside, but the top has to pretty much be fully unzipped in order for you to fit your animal in. You definitely need to be on guard when trying to use the top method because a quick cat might be too smart for the top opening! Otherwise, I really enjoy this carrier! Good size, pretty good quality, and it just takes some time getting used to.

Parakeet Approved
I received the pet carrier promptly several hours after placing the order using the same day Prime service; I couldn't be happier. This is a fantastic carrier that my lineolated parakeet took a liking to straight away. It doesn't have the sterile feel of a hard-cased carrier and though it's not truly soft like fabric carriers, its material (similar to neoprene) is pliable yet sturdy. Many of the reviews I read pertained to small dogs or cats, but with a few simple additions, this could easily suit a bird. I know one of the questions asked was about the size of the ventilation holes; they are ovals with approximate dimensions of 1&1/4 in x 5/8 in. Since the carrier already comes with a small black fleece cushion, a perch made of a dowel cut to size, a hanger bolt, fender washers on inside and outside secured with a wing nut or acorn nut on each end would certainly be a simple DIY project. If DIY isn't your cup of tea, I found the plastic "Wonder Hanger," an As Seen On TV product which hangs garments on hangers in a layered vertical style, fits perfectly in the carrier as a perch and even as a device from which to hang toys. See photos attached. My only advice for any pet owner is to air out the carrier prior to use. It has a rather strong smell, comparable to a new pair of sneakers, but one that could trigger a headache if left in your presence for very long. Also, zipping up the carrier for the first time is not for those with compromised dexterity. The design is simple and requires no instruction, but physically lining up the zippers to seal the enclosure while trying to hold the zipper pull against the bottom stop takes a bit of coordination.

Good crate for a "big boy"
I can't tell you how excited I was to get this crate especially since it is collapsible and I don't have to keep it together and taking up space all the time. However, I have kept it put together since I got it anyways! Lol Just trying to get the cats used to it. I got it because our previous soft-sided crate was trying to fall apart on us and it was a little small for our big old 13 lb hunk of fur. This crate however was perfect for him. He could see out of it and see what was going on and had enough solidity on the sides that I could turn it on its end while I put the cat in. When he was at the vet he even went in and out of the crate and already considered it his safe space, because it was so comfortable. Neither of our cats are much a box cats, so they don't really spend any time in the crate or any of the small spaces that we have supplied them, but I have played with them through the holes in it with some of the toys and they don't seem to mind it. Overall, I feel like this will be a purchase that will be very beneficial for my furry babies.

Very roomy and safe and creatively made!
I love the design and features of this pet kennel. It's so well thought of in the design and weight. I had a hard time putting it together at first but after 15-20 minutes I understood what needed to be done. The zippers must align with each other from the top and then from the bottom. It's very simple once you put it together. My Maltipoo puppy is 4 lbs and has alot of room still to curl up and or move around. I added a small blanket to fill some space and he seems to like being in it. I havent traveled with him in it yet but I plan to take him on road trips and see how he likes it. I really like the cute design compared to the ugly hard plastic boxes with very little vents for your pet to see out of or breathe comfortably in. I would be terrified if someone put me in one of those. This one is reasonably priced and of very good quality.

Heaps of room inside it
Loved the space inside the carrier. Also the airflow through it is great.
