Banana Cake Mix and Frosting for Dogs-9 oz

This one is a huge hit in my house. The banana cake baked up super moist, smelled great, and my dogs went absolutely feral for it. Bowls were licked clean and they kept hanging around the kitchen like I owed them more. 😂 Very easy to make and perfect for birthdays, gotcha days, or just spoiling your pups because… why not? I’ll definitely be buying the banana flavor again.

I buy this every year for my dog’s Birthday Party. The cupcakes are a hit with all the pup attendees! Easy to make and I top the cupcakes with a small dog treat. Very cute and evidently delicious.

Super easy cake to bake, my 3 year old helped me bake this. My dogs LOVED the banana flavor. I personally don't LOVE the frosting, it was a bit watery, I always have problems with those packets, I added a little water at a time, and it still messed up. So I put the frosting into my blender with a banana and fixed it right up. My dogs LOVED that. Anyways great cake, my dogs ate it all up in one day. We have used this brand before with their other flavors as well. We will totally buy this brand again. It saves us money instead of buying a professionally made one, its like 1/4 of the cost!

My 3 dogs DEVOURED this cake. I had a silicon bone mold for this cake and could've left it in for maybe another 5 minutes, but the toothpick still came out clear at 24 minutes, like the box says. Personal tip, you shouldn't start mixing the icing until AFTER the cake is cooled. I usually DO mess up the icing because I start mixing it when the cake is still in the oven. Either was, just follow directions on the box, and you can't go wrong. I have 2 big dogs and 1 medium. I split the cake between all 3 for 2 days. In my opinion, perfect size, consistency, and if you ask my dogs, great flavor.

He sits in the kitchen waiting patiently for the cakes to bake! He jumps up and down while they are being decorated. He loves parties. These mixes are nice for any occasion or any day. They are easy to make. I sometimes will add a little bit of peanut butter or freshly mashed banana to the batter. Small pieces of diced apples or a small amount of applesauce would probably be fine, too. The icing needs to be spread very quickly before it hardens. It's not a fluffy icing but more of a thin glaze that dries very quickly. I once added vanilla yogurt and mashed bananas to the icing for extra flavor. The cakes turn out soft and fairly moist. They aren't dry and crumble apart. Leftover cake stores well if placed in an airtight container or even on a plate covered with foil. I tried the vanilla variety with sprinkles for my dog last week for my birthday. He ate the sprinkles which I didn't think that he would do and seemed to really enjoy the cake. I recommend this item. It's pricey but worth the cost for the enjoyment that it brings to our friends.

We bought this for our dog's tenth birthday. Both of our dogs loved it and would buy it again. It was easy to make in the microwave, no oven needed.
