Skateboard Truck Rebuild Kit Bushings Washers Pivot Cups for 2 Trucks

Everything I needed to revive my 30 year old skateboard setup. I didn't know if Independent freestyle trucks needed a different size, but these fit perfectly, so I guess the answer is they use the same as a 149/159.

This set was intended to rebuild trucks on a Penny board clone. However the pivot cups were too large for the aluminum trucks that are on the skateboard. They however fit a plastic trucks on another skateboard, which was a lucky break. The bushings and the washers are OK and seems to fit just fine. One thing I found is that a piece of clear vinyl tubing from a home improvement store makes great pivot cups. Just take your trucks to the store and find the closest tube that fits. Buy a foot of the tube and you will have a large supply of pivot cups! Cut a piece of the tube and use it instead of the pivot cup. So make sure that the set fits your trucks before ordering.

I recently purchased a long board at a second hand store and attempted going down hill. I don't no much about skateboards but the wobble I was getting was not normal. After doing research I learned I needed to change the bushings. What a difference! The ride is stable. The real trick after changing your bushing is getting the right tightness for your size. Next up will be bearings.

Cheap garbage. Right after I installed them they were horrible feeling and two hours later they are blown out. I only rode around no tricks or anything. Will not be ordering these again.

My particular product came used and missing a pivot cup, hoping the exchange will be worthwhile and worth the hype.

I mainly bought his kit because the standard bushing that came on the trucks were very soft even when tightened as much as possible. These are firm enough for my weight (approx. 215lbs.).

Good hardware, good price! The pivot bushings were a bit too big for my odd trucks but that is probably just a me thing, and I made it work. The trucks are 1988 hi-tech trucks off an old Vision board, if that tells you anything.
