Gets stuck halfway through
The media could not be loaded. I should've read the comments more before purchasing. It does get stuck halfway through and at the end.I clocked my 3 minute timer at 3:46 seconds (tapping/shaking anytime it got stuck).If you're looking for something nice for a desk have at it- If you looking for a nice timer for a boardgame just use a digital one or look elsewhere.

Magnetic Sand Timer pretty but . . .
It's very pretty, but I have to tap it several times to get all of the sand down.I have a regular old white sand one-minute timer/hourglass that goes smooth as silk.Happy I didn't get the 5 minute timer. 😢

This hour glass does not work!
I bought this hour glass to time chess moves with my great-granddaughter. It jams up sometimes and requires one to constantly monitor it and 'thump' it when it sticks. No good.

Actually 3 minute timer not 2
I ordered this product as I specifically needed a 2 minute sand timer and when it came and I timed it, it lasts over 3 minutes. NOT what was advertised.
