how different would a lc premix be to an agar premix my thought was if you add agar to the lc prmix it would do...i bought a bottle recenly?

Hi There, you probably could mix the liquid culture premix powder together with an agar powder. Then you would need to dissolve the mixture together and use a steam sterilizer to make agar plates that would grow mushroom mycelium. For example I would try mixing 25 grams of the liquid culture premix together with 15 grams of agar powder. And then add the resulting 40 grams to 1 Liter of water. There would be more to it than this, so please feel free to contact us directly and we can help to guide you. You cannot add the powder directly to a premade agar plate, however. How often do you yse magnetic stir

I used it after first mix for about 5 mins straight to mix up real good, then once every 3 or 4 days to break up the growth. Good luck with this product
