Took a course by this author on Skillshare and really loved it so I sought out this book. The author really explains fashion illustration from the basics to the advanced. Even for someone who just dabbles in art and knows nothing about the fashion industry, it was perfect. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in drawing. Great examples and templates for beginners!

So many different types of techniques! It’s a bit tricky to start out, but the instructions are easy to follow. For beginners! I wish there were more blank pages to practice on though.

I can’t recall how I stumbled upon Danielle’s work, but I found it intriguing given that she was making such a strong effort to embrace tablets. She was the first person I discovered that put herself out there in this medium for all to see (a pretty daring move given the limitations of tablets at the time). I’ve since learned of her other work as an illustrator and a writer and found it all enjoyable as well as entertaining. Draw Fashion Now was a natural progression as I continue to follow this talented artist and to see what I can do with pencil and paper.

Really handy reference. Breaks down drawing fashion into clear and easy to understand steps. Haven't seen anything as good as this out there.
