Much BETTER than any auto store steering wheel cover!
I bought this to cover the worn out steering wheel on my 2008 Honda CRV. I previously had a โpleatherโ steering wheel cover from Advance Auto, and this is soooo much better! Itโs genuine leather, and it looks and fits great if you follow the size chart. Tip #1: After sliding the cover over your steering wheel (with the seem in the center, at the bottom), line up all the holes with their counterpart on the other side before you begin stitching. It will look a lot neater if itโs lined up perfectly. I used a mirror to count the empty holes behind each spoke, and then marked my starting and stopping holes on both sides with a metallic Sharpie to make sure it stayed lined up well, with no wrinkles or stitching errors. Tip #2: If your steering wheel is thicker at the 10 & 2 positions, you may need to stretch the leather to avoid a gap there. Even though I ordered the correct size, based on the thicker circumference at my 10 & 2 positions, I had a gap between the leather when I got to the 10:00 position. No matter how tightly I pulled the thread, I couldnโt close the gap, so I thought it was too small. When I got to the 2:00 position, it occurred to me that maybe I could stretch the leather to fit. So I got 2 pairs of pliers and pulled both sides of the leather to stretch it a little, and then I was able to stitch it closed without a gap there. Tip #3: Rather than using โdummyโ stitches in front of and behind the spokes, I tucked the leather under. As long as itโs stitched tightly on both sides of the spokes, it should stay tucked with no problem. I did tuck a small piece of double-sided tape underneath to hold it in place until I got it stitched on both sides. There are several ways you can sew the cover on. The quickest and easiest way would be the straight-stitch. I opted to cross-stitch mine, because I think it looks neater and more professional. Cross-stitching requires more time, more thread, and simultaneously using 2 needles. Therefore, I appreciated that Bellinous included 3 LONG pieces of thread, each with an attached needle, which was more than enough to get the job done. The installation took me approximately 3-1/2 hours. Iโm attaching photos and a video of the finished product. I wanted to video the stitching process, but I didnโt have any way to hold the camera at those awkward angles. If Bellinous wants to send me a couple small leather samples and thread, Iโd be happy to make an instructional cross-stitch video. I am very happy with the quality, fit, and final appearance of this steering wheel cover. I expect it will last a lot longer than the cheap slip-on cover I previously had, and it was actually LESS expensive! Great quality for the price!

Great kit
Variation: L4 Brown Fantastic product. Great quality leather and very nice thread and needles. Conforms well to the wheel and pretty easy to install. Comes with everything you need. Can't speak on the longevity of the finish but time will tell My package came with 3 lengths of thread which was perfect for the stitch I chose. I used 2 lengths to run a saddle stitch along each perimeter prior to putting it on the wheel. Then I used the last length to make my Basting pattern and affix to the wheel. Would absolutely use this product again.

Great quality product, perfect fit, easy install.
Great quality leather, well-made, and enough string for a variety of stitching options. I opted for the simple straight stitch, but instructions are available for baseball stitch or cross stitch or any others. Installation took about two hours, but I would count on three. End result is great.

Nice leather, but mine tore
The leather I received was beautiful. Soft and supple, smells nice, good thickness. The needles and thread that came with were also good. Strong waxed thread. Unfortunately, the leather tore just as I was completing stitching. It may have been my fault for pulling too hard, but honestly I don't think I pulled all that hard. I'm giving a rating of 4 stars based on the suspicion that it was my fault. 1 star off for the possibility that it wasn't my fault. Stitching it on is laborious. That's just the nature of the task. Also, there's no good way to finish the leather edges around the steering wheel spokes. Dummy stitches help dress it up, but it still doesn't look professional. I suppose you could glue it down...I haven't tried that but frankly I'd be scared to. Really, you just need to be OK with loose edges around the spokes.

Perfect fit and quality product
Shipped fast and seems like high quality leather. It seem d a little tight getting it in the wheel, but ended up a perfect fit once it was laced up. I used the sizing guide and it was perfect. It took me almost four hours to do the job. My installation was on a lawn tractor that the squirrels had chewed on the steering wheel. It now looks like new and feels better than new. My kit contained three pieces and f waxed thread and three needles. I only used two of the threads. I did the baseball stitch. Contrary to reviews I read, I didn't break any needles. Overall I am thrilled with the quality, and the final installation.

Stitched leather steering wheel cover
This actually worked very well and appears to be of very good quality. They also provided two needles and more than enough thread to lace it up. The only issue is installing it and stitching it together with the included thread. Took me a while to get the hang of it and I changed my technique a couple of times before I was happy, so it ended up taking a few hours total to complete. Eventually I would put the thread through one hole on each side, compress the rim with one hand as I pulled the thread very tight with the other, then used a spring loaded clamp to keep it from loosening, like having a third hand. Repeat and repeat over and over until youโre done. Very happy with the results. It comes in several diameters and widths and colors to closely fit your steering wheel so not a one-size-fits-all approach, which would not yield good results. My car is old and the foam padding on the steering wheel was deteriorating and collapsing and beginning to rip. I first wrapped the steering wheel rim using self fusing tape to build it up and compress the original foam, which was loose and coming un-adhered in some areas. I then installed the leather cover over this tape, which worked well. I was mainly interested in function but it actually looks and feels very nice. Highly recommended, but you need time and patience to install it. If I get another one for my other car I can probably install it in an hour, but it took me at least two hours just to figure out how to do it with good results. Results are well worth the effort, feels like itโs going to last for years.

Amazing buy. If youโre on the fence, go for it. Takes time to install but very much worth it!
This is by far the best steering wheel cover for the money (sub $20. IMHO it would still be a good buy at $29.99). That being said, if u havenโt done this before and arenโt sewing oriented, like myself, u need to invest at minimum 1 and a half hours installing it. Took me closer to two. U should definitely do it by daytime and watch a youtube video to help u figure it out also (the printed and included instructions arenโt nearly as good as the youtube videos imho). And it wont come out perfect, like mine didnt . However, itโs still really nice and for the price a real win! Tip: pull and straighten the leather over the steering wheel as you go. In general, You will need to pull hard, like really hard to tighten the string. Itโs strong, it (the string) wonโt rip. U can buy a tool to pull the stitches tight, (youโll see in YouTube install videos this tool) I didnโt have it, but in hindsight Iโd recommend it. The leather seems to be high quality. Itโs soft. Durable etc. I got the M4 size for my 2014 Scion XB. Took some stretching but it fit very well. It possibly can take an hour if youโve done any kind of leatherwork/stitching before. But itโs tedious. Rewarding when itโs finished though.

โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ | Looks Factory, Feels Luxurious โ Worth the Time and Effort
Installed this Belinous leather steering wheel cover on a 2010 Kia Soul, and the result exceeded my expectations. The install process took about three hours, but once I got the hang of the stitching technique, it was smooth sailing. The kit came with everything needed, and the thread held up greatโno fraying or snapping. I ended up using a custom stitch pattern because the thread was pulling through the cover a little, but once I adjusted, it came out fantastic. The fit is perfectโtight, flush, and solid all the way around. No sagging or loose areas. The leather feels premiumโsmooth, soft, and comfortable to grip. It doesnโt get slippery even when your hands sweat, which is a big plus during long drives or hot days. Iโve had it installed for a couple of months now, and it still looks brand new with no visible wear. The cover also enhanced the appearance of the steering wheel, making it look fresher and more refined. For the price, itโs a no-brainerโand yes, Iโve already recommended it to a few friends. โธป โ Pros: โข High-quality leather feel โข Tight, OEM-like fit โข Customizable stitch pattern โข Comfortable, non-slip grip โข Great appearance and durability โ Minor Notes: โข Learning curve with stitching, but worth it โข Took a few hours, so be ready to commit some time
