Stitched leather steering wheel cover
This actually worked very well and appears to be of very good quality. They also provided two needles and more than enough thread to lace it up. The only issue is installing it and stitching it together with the included thread. Took me a while to get the hang of it and I changed my technique a couple of times before I was happy, so it ended up taking a few hours total to complete. Eventually I would put the thread through one hole on each side, compress the rim with one hand as I pulled the thread very tight with the other, then used a spring loaded clamp to keep it from loosening, like having a third hand. Repeat and repeat over and over until you’re done. Very happy with the results. It comes in several diameters and widths and colors to closely fit your steering wheel so not a one-size-fits-all approach, which would not yield good results. My car is old and the foam padding on the steering wheel was deteriorating and collapsing and beginning to rip. I first wrapped the steering wheel rim using self fusing tape to build it up and compress the original foam, which was loose and coming un-adhered in some areas. I then installed the leather cover over this tape, which worked well. I was mainly interested in function but it actually looks and feels very nice. Highly recommended, but you need time and patience to install it. If I get another one for my other car I can probably install it in an hour, but it took me at least two hours just to figure out how to do it with good results. Results are well worth the effort, feels like it’s going to last for years.

Good product, agonizing to put on
This is the first threaded steering wheel cover I’ve installed, and it might be the last. With that said, maybe I should have waited a few weeks before writing this. The cover itself is good material, the instructions are good, including links to videos. The instructions does say to set aside a few hours for installation. A few hours to me is about 3, which actually took me about twice that. Granted it’s my first one, so there’s a learning curve, and I’m very meticulous. After my first attempt at it, I ended up poking an awl through the holes to open them up a little more. Also, when I tightened the thread and let go of it the steering wheel expanded and loosened the threads. I ended up using zip ties as I went to hold the threads snug. Once it was installed, I have to say it looks really nice and I like the feel of it. My hands are sore. Time will tell on the quality and if I would consider doing it again.

Excellent value and quality. Everything you need.
This leather cover is really top notch. They didn’t have the diameter that I needed for my Grant 831 wheel, but they did have the right width. I ordered a larger one and sewed a new seam to make it smaller so it fit my wheel. It looks great and provides for an upscale trim level in my old Jeep.

Nice leather, but mine tore
The leather I received was beautiful. Soft and supple, smells nice, good thickness. The needles and thread that came with were also good. Strong waxed thread. Unfortunately, the leather tore just as I was completing stitching. It may have been my fault for pulling too hard, but honestly I don't think I pulled all that hard. I'm giving a rating of 4 stars based on the suspicion that it was my fault. 1 star off for the possibility that it wasn't my fault.Stitching it on is laborious. That's just the nature of the task. Also, there's no good way to finish the leather edges around the steering wheel spokes. Dummy stitches help dress it up, but it still doesn't look professional. I suppose you could glue it down...I haven't tried that but frankly I'd be scared to. Really, you just need to be OK with loose edges around the spokes.

Very Satisfied!
Bought this for my company Kenworth T800. Needed a quality leather cover for a 15 year old steering wheel. Measured the diameter and the circumference of the wheel handle itself to order the correct item number. The unit arrived quickly. The leather was thick and looked to be of high quality. The 18” wrap fit snugly and came with good instructions and 3 sets of needles/thread. The installation process was simple but tedious.Take your time with the installation. Pull the thread tight but not super tight. I cannot stress this enough. If your measured correctly and ordered the corresponding item you can pull it tight enough for the edges of the leather to come together. Just go slow, pull hard on the thread and take your time. It took me about 90 minutes to complete an 18” steering wheel with 3 spokes. Do this and you will be happy with the results and amazed that this product only cost about $20 or so.

Excellent wrap for 2018 Tundra, that won’t break the bank!!!
Item is very surprising. I thought, it’s just a wrap, it will keep the factory steering wheel from getting worse. I am here to tell ya, it looks great. Looks great, fits great, color is perfect, feels good and it was easy to install. Buy with confidence because if I need another, I will buy it again.

Excellent Product. Looks great on old narrow wheels.
Installed two of these so far. One went on a 1966 MGB, and the other went on a 1971 VW. In both cases, these were plastic steering wheels with a very narrow rim. The leather cover went on easily and stretched over the contours of the wheel including the ridges on the back side. The leather is uniform in thickness and consistency, and it held up well to very spirited tugging on the line that held everything together. Overall, these are some of the best steering wheel covers I've ever seen.
