THOUGHT ITS AN SSD. BUT IT'S FAST!
I didn't read that it's an HDD. I was expecting SSD to get delivered. But it was my mistake I missed out the Title and description. But nevertheless it's fast and works perfectly via even when connected via multi USB 3.0 dongle to my Asus Zenbook Flip 13.

Slow transfer, fiddly cable, stopped working
I am down from 3 stars to 1 (deserves 0). My initial issue was that it comes formatted as NTFS, so it was very slow when copying larger files, and I had to reformat it as exFAT to get it to decent speeds. Then the cable was very fiddly, if you touched it even lightly the disk disconnected. Finally it recently stopped working all together for no good reason, the computer does not recognise it any longer. Waste of money! Lucky I had the data backed somewhere else, but I certainly do NOT recommend this.

Does what it says on the tin
Had this a few years now and works like a treat, transfer is fast, it's a handy size (though remember where you put it) and amazingly, it really is not Made in China but in the Philippines.

Simple and reliable
I bought this to back up photos and other important files, and it's been great. It was literally plug it in and goโmy computer recognized it right away. Been using it for ~3 months now. The transfer speeds are good, it's nice and compact, and it's easy to toss in a laptop bag without taking up much space. I also like the red colour because it's easy to spot instead of blending in with everything else on my desk. No complaints at all. It does exactly what I bought it for, and I'd definitely buy another one if I needed more storage.
