Great food

My 2 year old shihpoo has eaten this food since she was 8 weeks old. She is now on the adult small breed Wellness and she has the softest coat I have ever felt. My new shihpoo puppy is now eating this and he loves it. I have had no problems with soft stools or gas or vomiting. When I had my very first dog when I was younger, I would just buy pedigree from the grocery store and she ended up dying of cancer at a young age. Don't know if her diet was the main cause, but years later when I purchased my current dog, I decided to research the dog food and realized how awful the grocery store dog food was. My dogs will always be on this food and I feel good about giving this to them. It's more expensive but it's so worth it. The dogs don't eat as much if their getting good quality food so I guess the cost evens out. I highly recommend Wellness or something similar.*something I've noticed since getting this bag of food online *My new puppy eats the wellness puppy and my 2 yr old eats wellness adult. My older dog always wants to eat the puppy food too. My vet said it tastes better but may just make her a bit chunky cuz of the extra calories. This has been going on for a couple months so don't think it's ,ohh I want what he's eating, anymore. Since opening this bag of puppy food that I ordered, I normally go to Petco or Petsmart, the dogs will not eat it. Instead they both want to eat the adult food. It made me think maybe something was wrong with it. The bag looks brand new and was sealed and its not expired. Anyone else? Maybe my dogs are just being weird. Thanks!

I was having a hard time finding this in supermarkets and pet food stores and Amazon had it for what was considered an all right price at the time. Otherwise this brand makes good healthy conscious thought wise products for your pet, great to read up on them as an owner to see which flavor and types fit best for your pet

What can I say, Wellness has always been a go to brand for me and my girls. Since I now have a puppy, I went back to this as she is a small breed baby - my foster failure. Lalee Pop loves this food! And so does her sister, Sadie, who should be eating her adult food!!! For the price, you can beat getting this on Amazon. Especially, since I'm a Prime member, and a bad forgetful mother, I can get this same day if I can get qualifying purchase/order. I get all my girls food/treats from Amazon - all but the the True Chews, my local small shop around the corner actually beats Amazon pricing, shocked me, but good for them! Again, Wellness has been a staple over the years... I do switch up food as there needs change, and what is better out there, but for my puppy, this is a perfect start!

This is our second bag of this dog food. When we got our first yorkie we did not realize how different it would be to care for them from the large dogs we are used to. These little things have sensitive tummies and what you put in their tummies effects everything: the silkiness and growth of their hair; the clearness of their eyes; their disposition and attitude; their trainability even the darkness of the tear stains under their eyes. Our little girl was having difficulty keeping down the food we gave her and other yorkie parents on fb were advising that we had to have high quality food. There were several foods listed that included this one. This was the first one we tried because this was the most recommended.Our little girl didn't like this at first I had to mix it with some broth. But eventually she started to eat it and now she eats this three times a day. She has a nice soft coat now and she's starting to get her adult colors. Even her tear stains seem to be better. One bag lasts for over a month with one dog and about a month with two. Most of all eating doesn't make her sick

My 3 month old Schnoodle loves this food! We tried switching to Wellness Core Grain Free but he refused to eat it so we switched back to this and he is so very excited when it is time to eat. I read some reviews stating that the bags they ordered from Amazon had mold in it and was not the size and shape as the bags purchased locally. I took a chance and the bag I received was fresh and had an expiration date over a year from now. The size and shape of the kibble is the same as the locally purchased bag. My puppy waits in anticipation at every meal for me to pour his serving in his bowl. His stool is also more formed and he is only going once a day rather than three times a day when he was on Wellness core. I am very happy to have the convenience and savings of having this food delivered to my house on subscribe and save and my puppy is happy too!

Just editing out this review, my puppy stopped eating this food after a couple of weeks, she is incredibly picky and will not eat most dog foods, i have to cycle through foods to get her to eat something, not a fault of the brand though, wellness makes good foods with wholesome nutritionMy pup has been on different foods since i got her and she has been really really picky, to the point of not eating for the whole day because she did not like the food, i read a couple of reviews from picky eater owners and decided to give it a try.She did seem to like it and eats it just fine, the small size of the kibbles is perfect for a small breed puppy and she seems to like the taste, the transition did not seem to cause any ill effects on her digestive system because her stool is normal (though bigger than it used to but i guess that is because she is growing as well)She has been on this for a week or so, will update the review after she finishes her first bag and keep track of any changes in her coat and general well being

My dogs would not eat it and it is their regular food. I checked the best before date on the bag and it is EXPIRED!!! Do not buy.

This product is amazing. No food additives and it does not give bad breath
