You won't regret getting these.
These things are great. We bought a 16 pack over a year ago and installed them in one room that really needed some light. We also got the light switch that had a slider dimmer on it so it works fantastically. We are now remodeling the dining and kitchen area and bought another 16 pack to brighten up those areas as well. I know it will look and feel so much better with lights we can cook and clean with instead of just the one overhead light we currently use there. The place looks so much more modern and beautiful with them installed. Highly recommend them, plus they are extremely easy to install.

Extremely flexible solution - great lighting that you didn't know you needed!
Our home has traditional recessed can lights in various living and kitchen spaces, but aside from one fan light in three bedrooms, overhead lights were absent. We debated 4" vs 6" LEDs for a minute, then decided on the 6" size at 4X for each room because the diameter was very close to those older cans. After contemplating layout options, we opted for 5X in two of the rooms, which was needed only for balance, not illumination. We installed dimmers on these new LEDs, and at full brightness, they are super bright. I'll rarely use them at full strength. On a dimmer, they put out nice, consistently-colored light at all levels, and the color options allowed us to match the color of my can bulb-LEDs in all those older recessed cans (2700K). I started the first room at 2700K - it matched all my others already in the home, so we didn't even try other temperatures, but I'm glad they were available if needed. Seeing this product, I would have been very comfortable installing them myself, but I hired my electrician, who made quick work of 14 recessed lights, 3 dimmers, and tapping the switched light power from the ceiling fans, in less than 3.5 hours. My ceilings use trusses, so wiring from light to light was a breeze and required no drilling through joists. With the thinness of these lights, my electrician was fearless drilling basically anywhere in the ceiling because he knew he could span a truss if needed. I know he used wire nuts instead of the provided splicing connectors, indicating that he had seen a lot of failures of those connectors at other homes. The lights look great when they're off - the frosted cover and white ring blends in nicely with our mostly white ceiling. In our opinion, they look cleaner than the other traditional cans in the rest of the home. Overall, extremely pleased and would definitely recommend use in any garage, basement, or living space that needs extra light.

Great Value
I was a bit skeptical before I purchased these lights. I caught them on sale and ordered 2 boxes of these. As a remodeler we use quite a few of these LED can lights every week. These are good lights. Easy to install and very bright. Don't forget the color switch that gives you 5 color options. I really like the value of these lights. My customers never know the brand of light that we install. So I'm happy to find a less expensive option. I'll buy more.

Decent lights, BadCRI
These lights work as expected, Dimmer range is great and they are very bright. The Electrical box they come with is large enough to work in without trouble, this is actually a huge plus over the "Halo" Branded stuff they sell at home dept. These fixtures are also thin enough, that even if the hole you drill happens to be in the same place as a joist, its not the end of the world and the light still fit everywhere it happened to me. I have two wiggles. 1. The CRI is 80, this isnt exactly advertised on the listing and is well hidden away to the point that I didn't notice this fact until I had the lights in my hand. This borders on dis-honest in my book. 2. The 5 white points are not exactly right. I do stage lighting professionally, and own a light meter. 2700k was reading more like 2500k, 3k was closer to 2800k, and so on. Id bet money 90% of people will be happy even with this variance, but if your the type that notices little differences in color temp between lights its going to drive you wild. I have 2700k bulbs in the same space, and had to set these to 3k to get them to make close enough that it doesn't bother me. I probably wouldn't have bought them if I had noticed the 80 CRI value, and I probably wont buy any more. They are cheap fixtures, with good brightness, its really the primary issue.

Light output colors are the same as older units, unlike the 20 count boxes.
So if you have older Amico units, these are "compatible" vs the 20 count box. When I say compatible, I mean their color output is the same as the older units whereas the 20 count box has different colors. No 3500k which is what we use. Other than that, the boxes are smaller and the mounting screw location is inside vs outside on the tab which will make it a bit more difficult to retro fit in an existing ceiling.
