Bought this game for family game night and it was a hit! Easy to figure ot how to play and my 5 year old caught on after awhile with some help. Good quality pieces but the storage is a little hard to get the pieces to stay in. They do put numbers in the back so you can find the spots.

If you enjoy looking your opponent in the eye and leading them straight into a plastic landmine, this game is for you. Stratego is basically professional-grade hide-and-seek for people who like to think they’re tactical geniuses. I personally love the moment my "unbeatable" army collapses because I accidentally ran my highest-ranking officer into a bomb on turn three. It’s tense, it’s hilarious, and it’s the only game where extreme paranoia is actually a valid winning strategy. Buy it, but be prepared for some serious household rivalries. It’s a classic for a reason!

. I’ve owned this game for years and brought it over to a friend’s house and their kids liked it so much they asked if they could keep it. My version was not the original but classic enough that I didn’t want to part with it. After researching to find the best modern version I bought two of these as presents. The version with the cards seems cool and is cheaper but I like the pieces and layout of this board much better which is why I went with this purchase. I never tried the version with the cards and don't think I need to because the original is great. I don’t trust whoever rates this game less than four stars.

Love this game, fond memories from my own childhood. One warning, these pieces will roll when your seven year old gets frustrated that you've CRUSHED HIM AGAIN.
