What is the best choice for someone who colored their hair brown but would like to remove green tone?

To tone down green. You want to cross the color wheel and go with a red tone

Would this work on dark brown to black hair, if i want to get light brown from dark brown to black hair?

This shampoo isn’t going to lighten your hair; however, it deposits color pigment. You might see some lighter color highlights in the sun. Definitely worth a try. I’ve used both a red base and blonde base.

Can I use just this to change my hair to brown (currently blonde) looking for a temporary brown 2 weeks

I do not believe this is a substitute for a temporary hair color. I am a naturally darkish grey, I have my hair bleached white. My hairdresser recommended this shampoo to keep my roots white when my hair grows out. My hair also tends to bring out yellow tones and this shampoo keeps my hair a very nice white. I think it is meant to bring out the highlights you already have

im a natural brunette & my hair lightens in the summer. would a blonde shampoo be able to lighten my brown hair over time?

Hello, thank you for your question! Unfortunately, shampoo cannot lighten hair, only bleach can do that.
