Bake with Anna Olson: More than 125 Simple, Scrumptious and Sensational Recipes to Make You a Better Baker: A Baking Book

I own way too many cookbooks, the number will never be disclosed unless I have a lawyer present. When I take the time to leave a review, that means something. So let me say I ADORE THIS COOKBOOK. I stumbled upon her show on amazon prime video and was wondering why I had never heard of Anna Olson - so much time wasted, I wish I had known about her earlier... At any rate, the cookbook is close to perfection - the organization, with three levels of recipes, Simple, Scrumptious, Sensational.. is brilliant. If you watched her show and found yourself writing down quickly the ingredients and amounts to make them later, this book will feel like a gift from Nirvana... Even if you've never seen her show, you'll love the way she explains each recipe very clearly, with beautiful photos, and you won't be able to wait to get to your kitchen to try her concoctions... A real gem of a cookbook!

So I dont know if anyone remembers but Baking with Anna Olson use to be on Amazon Prime but some sort of Canada rights thing happened and it was taken off completely and you can't buy the show even here in the US at all, I have looked because it was my sons favorite show, it was on all day everyday for months on end. Tried to get him to watch Sugar he says its just not the same. I found this book on here a while back, and I was very much hoping it was the recipes from the show, but again it seemed unattainable because I would never see it in stock. Well finally seen it in stock and bought it for him and sure enough it is the recipes from the show! He loves it! Its hardback and has beautiful pictures and many recipes, and the instructions are very good, I have gotten cook books where this is not the case.

I found Anna Olson’s baking series and once I started watching I was hooked. I just had the have the cookbook that accompanied the show. So many great recipes with easy to follow instructions.

I started watching Anna's show Bake with Anna Olsen through primeVideo and love how she explains the steps in a recipe. Since I loved the show so much I bought this book. A beautiful cookbook with great pictures and I love the recipes and how she breaks everything down. I have hundreds and hundreds of cookbooks so I don't buy too many but this is one that I had to buy.

Recipes are very easy to understand. Anna has written this cook book as if shes right beside you talking you through the recipes. I brought this book because i found Anna on the cooking channel on foxtel feeding my baby. I loved the way she cooked and how her kitchen was set out and the way she spoke to the viewers was very engaging. I then found this book and her other ones. I love the big colour photos next to the receipe. I have made classic chocolate chip cookies the classic lemon pound cake which i think tastes nicer than butter cake . Due to baby in home i don't have a lot of spare time but i do plan on making other cakes that i have found. Overall great book. For Beginners on.

I like the book and her show. She explains everything step by step and makes it so easy.

I started to follow up Anna Olson because of her TV videos and how easy the recipes look. Well, this book is just an exact replica of her TV/on line recipes, so you do not need to take notes and go back and forth. Easy to follow recipes, great results, beautifully presented. Perfect for those just starting at baking or those with some/lot of experience. Totally recommended. I love this book and Anna. I am mad because her Canadian YouTube videos cannot be viewed in US. What a waste. This would be the perfect combination.

Book is hard cover and well illustrated. This is gift to my daughter and she is only 14 years old but she likes to do baking. She know about Anna Olson for several years and she used her recopies before with great success. This book have excellent instructions and my daughter is happy.
