DIY Mason Jars: Thirty-Five Creative Crafts and Projects for the Classic Container

I love this book. Like her other books, when you read this you feel like Melissa is talking to you, being all cute and quirky and encouraging -- and her illustrations are so charming (if you don't already have The Family Doodle Book, which she illustrated, do yourself a favor and get it pronto!).The projects are all very do-able, no need to break the bank buying supplies or tools that you'll use just for these projects and then never touch again. And they're all so easy to switch up and add your own style/flair to. Plenty of things you can make with kids, too, and some that would be great birthday party crafts (particularly the Glitter Jars or Cute Potted Succulents).With a weekend and a pile of jars, you can add some sweet magic to every room in your house!

A friend of mine had been eyeing this book and when her wedding shower was coming up I knew this was the perfect gift for her. Her wedding was incorporating many fun details with mason jars so this fit in with the theme just right!There are some really amazing ideas in there - it's great for people with country-themed homes. Mason jars can be used for so many things. Drinking glasses, soap dispensers, pen and pencil containers. I was surprised by all the really simple and smart ideas! If you're looking for some easy and fun crafts that turn out looking like you spent a lot of money on them, this is the book for you.

I was looking for a book that would give me some fresh ideas for my huge collection of jars I've accumulated over the years. Most of the crafts are good for someone who's never repurposed a mason jar...but I was looking for some fresh ideas. These are your typical run of the mill jar crafts. Also, wish the directions included step by step pics or diagrams. I do love the little bit of humor the book is formatted with though.

I was more than satisfied with both the product and the service provided. The book was everything it said it would be, and for a used book, it was in nearly new condition. I always have good luck with Amazon since beginning using it and would reccomend this book to any crafter and Amazon itself to anyone who wants a good deal on a book. I guess I was expecting more. These are pretty basic ideas and I was expecting more detail.   If you're not a crafter and need more guidance this book would be terrific for you.

Book is in great condition. It's good but the projects are a little lame.I heard about it from a craft magazine.

I saw the book at a local store and I thought it would have a lot of cool projects. I should have saved my money. There are better ideas available on line for free if you know where to look and I do. I should have gotten a gotten a book of mason jar recipes. It is a good book, has great photos, but most of the information is available in other places for free.

This is the type of book that is best delivered in hard copy.
