My bulbs are textured for light diffusion. Would I be able to get good suction on a non-smooth bulb surface?

Double check your bulbs. Mine appeared to have texture also but the texture was on the inside. I was able to use the tool due to the outside being smooth

Is this made from natural rubber/latex?

It didn't feel like good old-fashioned rubber, don't think it felt like latex either, more like silicon and plastic. It didn't work and I threw mine away. I had to remove the fixtures and rotate the bulbs to get them out. Turn off the power if you use this method though!!! Also score any paint around the base prior to removing the fixture or you can pull the paint off the ceiling... Good luck!

Will this work for a MR11 bulb?

It should. An MR11 is 1 3/8" dia, while the MR16 is 2". So the suction cup is wide enough. I had a particularly difficult MR16-lots of twisting force needed-and I found that smearing a thin layer of jelly on the cup and bulb and letting them dry made an esp. sticky bond that was easy to release with a fingernail and then cleanup with warm water. That is, this suction cup grips OK, but not super-strong.

Good little tool

This suction cup is perfect for changing halogen bulbs on my track lighting. I was looking for something that could aid me in changing my bulbs where fingers do not function well. This little changer worked well. Only issue I have is the suction strength. Had to readjust a few times to get the bulbs replaced.

Bad Buy!!

First, the suction cup was tiny, barley fit in my hand! Second, it was too small to even fit on a night light! no Suction, and absolutely no leverage! It went right into the garbage! What a waste of money!!

A Lifesaver!

Didn’t know these existed and I used to cry whenever I had to change a bulb in the track light. Took me about an hour to change two bulbs. Then I ordered one of these and it took 2 minutes. Suction worked great on my LE GU10 bulb. Just stuck it right on; no issues.
