Good performance in a compact size
This antenna delivers solid range and clarity for LoRa and HaLow devices. Itโs small enough to tuck into tight setups but still offers a noticeable improvement over standard included antennas. The signal strength is cleaner and more consistent, especially in outdoor environments where line-of-sight is key. The build quality feels solid and it mounts securely without any wobble or looseness. One thing to keep in mind is that the gain is advertised at 5 dBi, but in real-world use itโs not going to triple your range or anything like that. Itโs a good upgrade, just not magic. That said, for the size and ease of install, itโs definitely worth having in your gear.

Expand your Mesh coverage
Great antenna for Meshcore expanded my reach for sure, even using it indoors.

Decent Antenna
This is a andiquate upgrade to the Seeed SenseCap Solar repeater. You will need a compatible cable also. I think you could get a better antenna for just a bit more money.

Solid upgrade
These are reliable performers. I have several Meshtastic nodes running reliably with these antennas. They are not magic, but they are a solid upgrade over the stock antenna. Good range improvement. For the price, this is one of the best investments in improving your Meshtastic setup that you can make. Recommendations: You will need an N-connector pigtail and waterproof tape to seal up the connection. The silicone tape works well and will keep the rain out.

Reliable Performance and Impressive Range
Iโm very pleased with this ALFA Network 5.8 dB LoRa antenna. It performs flawlessly and adds excellent reliability to my setup. One of my RAK LoRa radios is installed in a 14-story building, and this little antenna easily has a range of 5โ6 miles. Iโve purchased four of these so far, and they continue to exceed my expectations. Solid performance and great value. I suggest mounting it on an N connector and not using a SMA to N converter, this helps avoid waterproofing issues.

Impressive on the VNA
I am shocked, this antenna has a center frequency of 918MHz and SWR of 1.1! At 910MHz, the Meshcore band, it still has an SWR of 1.2.

๐ด๐ด๐ด IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ!!!
๐ด๐ด๐ด NEWS FLASH! After buying 915MHz antennas exactly like this from ALFA, Gizont, and SlinkDSCO and finding that they all resonated at ~870MHz instead of 915MHz, I decided to disassemble my Gizont antennas (About 4 bucks each from AliExpress), hook them up to my VNA, and solve the mystery. Imagine my surprise when I removed the protective plastic tube and the resonant frequency magically changed to 930MHz! Well, GUESS WHAT? The plastic tube changes the effective length of the antenna... So what we have here is 3 companies all tuning their antennas AND THEN ADDING THE PLASTIC TUBE, SCREWING EVERYTHING UP. I found that trimming 5.5mm from the antenna wire end and testing with the plastic tube in place got me dead-on at 915MHz. ... OLD REVIEW: ... I bought an ALFA A0A-915-5ACM antenna. I received an antenna marked 915 MHz. I calibrated my NanoVNA and checked the antenna... 868 MHz (See photo). So far I have collected over a dozen different antennas, all supposed to be 915 MHz, but only 3 (One from Gizont, one from Muziworks, and one unmarked PCB antenna from China) of them were tuned to 915, all the rest are tuned to 868. Getting to be mighty expensive and inconvenient. At least I can return the ones purchased through Amazon, the ones bought on AliExpress just went into the trash. With a proper 915 MHz antenna I can see over 200 nodes from INSIDE MY HOUSE, but with an 868 MHz antenna I can see only around 60. Also, as others have mentioned, the connector on the ALFA antenna is NOT a proper Type N. The threaded collar does not rotate. As simple as antennas are, I am amazed that these manufacturers cannot get them right.

One of the best LoRa antennas out there!
This antenna definitely was an upgrade for my RAK Wisblock LoRa repeater. The original antenna was good, but once I put this one on and left it for a day, I found it had picked up a lot more repeaters further away! The antenna is bigger and bulkier than the OEM one, and others I've tried, but its performance more than makes up for that inconvenience! Definitely recommend it!

Real deal, works great with RAK 1W for a repeater.
The real deal. 1.1 snr at 912mhz works fantastic for 1Watt RAK's for Meshcore as well. Currently used in YYZ Martindale and YYZ Gurnett, both in top 5 usage in the YYZ area. Martindale gets a rock solid connection across the lake from toronto repeaters to St. Catharines. (about 30-40km average)
