55 Chevy Hood Bird

Well made for the price removed the old one and the new one dropped right on !! Oh by the way be sure to order a gasket kit it does not come with the hood bird .

Fit my 1955 Bel Air perfectly!! The hood ornament was heavy, high quality, very shiny chrome.. was better than I imagined!!

Poor fit, does not match the contour of the hood. The original fit like it should so the hood is straight. Contacted the seller and he was only willing to send another after I sent the one I had at my expense, by the time i do that i could have paid for the nicer part from another supplier. not impressed. Nose of the bird was ground crooked prior to chrome plating, much lighter then an original and slightly different in size. Nice chrome, no gaskets, came with hardware. If it had fit I would have gave it 5 stars and said good driver quality part. BUT fit sucks and seller was not helpful, so one star for you.

the item is ok but you can tell its an aftermarket.
