Working well
Used this on multiple variations of my house plants and seems to be working well. You do have to apply a thick layer around 3/4 inches to completely cover the soil but my house plants seem to be doing much better and seeing fewer of those little flies every day!

An improvement
Better, but not perfect. This is certainly preferable to chemicals or the stink of neem oil, and the gnats have definitely reduced. There are still a number of gnats in the affected plant with smaller guys suggesting that reproduction is still possible. This review comes a couple of weeks after purchase, so there’s still time for a total victory. Redhead VS Gnats continues!

It works but doesn’t look great
The granules are like dust I’ve bought much better.

worked perfectly
coming back a month later to report this worked superbly, so pleased and no need for pesticides. did as it said (probably a bit more than half an inch) and added a fly sticky pad as well to each effected pot. anyway a month later, no gnats at all. would buy again!

Brilliant stuff!
Great stuff, have bought twice. I was plagued by plant gnats. Threw my old plants out not realising could get this stuff. A good layer is vital and don’t forget the middle of the plant, ensuring all well covered, carefully press it down. Completely natural, easy to use.

Doesn’t work
Sadly this didn’t work, I can see the gnats crawling all over the plants…actually on top of the product despite following instructions, not effective

Would recommend
I used this after completely changing soil in worst affected plants and in conjunction with anti gnat soil treatment. It appears to have done the trick and plants are looking healthier. It also looks effective, especially on my succulents.

Give it time - it does work
I saw some bad reviews of this product so wanted to write my own. We have had small flies all over our house plants- which we’ve struggled to get rid of. This product plus the yellow sticky fly catchers worked perfectly. It does not happen over night - you have to give it a week or two. Plus you have to put the sandy stuff quite thickly on the top of the soil. But we are now fly free!! I will definitely use it again
