NWC Naturals MSM Powder for Dogs, Cats and Horses, 1 lb Canister, 454 Grams

I highly recommend these products to any pet owner! I have two adult huskies, one of which has a stubborn condition known as Zinc Responsive Dermatosis. It causes crusty lesions to appear around his eyes, nose and mouth that he scratches until he bleeds. It is thought to be influenced by genetics and his gut's inability to properly absorb nutrients. Over the past 10 months, I have tried several combinations of supplementation and diet change along with prescription medications with very little improvement seen in his condition. That is, until I started using these products. I first tried adding only the Total-Biotics powder to his food twice daily and saw major improvements in his digestive health (no more irregular stools or bad gas), with minor improvements seen in his crusty skin around his nose and mouth but not so much around his eyes. I decided after a month on the pro-biotics to add the enzyme supplement in hopes that it would help further improve the itchy lesions around his eyes and after 3 months of using both I am so happy to say that it has worked! I firmly believe these products have helped him more than anything else that I had tried. I now give Total-Biotics and Total-Zymes to both of my huskies and they are happier and healthier than ever! I add one heaping scoop of Total-Zymes to their food each morning and evening, and one heaping scoop of Total-Biotics to their food each evening. They eat it all right up! This seems to work very well for their systems, so, I get over 3 months worth of enzymes and over 6 months worth of pro-biotic for an excellent price! I am so happy with these products and I will certainly be ordering again!

I have a lovely white, blue-eyed deaf cat with triaditis, which is chronic inflammation of the pancreas, liver and upper G.I. tract. For most of his life could barely keep his food down. He would no sooner swallow his food than it would come right back up. One time he went into starvation mode from vomiting, developed fatty liver disease and almost died. He had to be hospitalized and fed through a tube in his neck for a month. Every day of his life was a struggle to keep enough food in him. I found these enzymes and probiotics while searching for things to help my elderly cat with renal failure. I tried other brands but this stuff is the best, by far. While mixing it into her canned food, it became easier to simply mix it into the food that all the kitties got. Lo and behold! My kidney cat not only improved and became young again, but my triaditis cat suddenly stopped vomiting. He could keep his food down! He went from barfing several times per day to only barfing up a hairball every few months like a normal cat. Now a lot of cats with pancreatitis should not get enzyme supplements. If your cat has pancreatitis, consult with your vet before trying this. But these enzymes brought my very sick kidney cat back from the brink of death and gave her an extra year filled with happiness, where she zoomed around like a kitten. She died this past Christmas Eve at the age of 18. On these supplements, especially the enzymes, my triaditis cat is happy and healthy at age 14. It's rare for a triaditis cat to live this long. As long as he gets the enzymes with his food he has no distress. He's lying across my arms and purring as I type this. He eats only wet food, no kibble. What's easiest for me and works best for him is to mix the powders into a newly opened can of food, then feed it in small portions throughout the day. Since all processed pet foods have lost their enzymes and probiotics to heat processing, I make it a habit to feed these supplements to all my pets with every meal. I hope our experience might help someone else.

I started feeding my dogs whole foods almost two years ago after kicking the bag habit to the curb. I've learned a ton of things, have tweaked things around to work for us, and have watched all three of my kids blossom into healthy! Two are Greyhounds, and little girl is a terrier mix senior. I've had the pleasure of talking with Dr. John Taylor of NWC Naturals on a couple of occasions, and the man knows his stuff! It started with the Krill Oil for pets that they sell, and Dr. John also explained the importance of pro-biotics and enzymes, especially since I'm feeding real food. I do admit that its a bit more than I prefer to spend, but the total digestion twin pack was the one thing we were lacking, and it has made a huge difference! My young Greyhound is the cream puff of the group, and if anyone is going to get boo-boo tummy, it's him. We've been using this twin pack for about six months now, and haven't had any more issues with the young lad. Poos are much, much better these days! And, since no one has had to go to the vet for well over a year now I feel a little more justified in the cost. Seriously, feeding my dogs real food and taking more control over their health, meaning not shoving everything down their their throat the vets want me to, and dealing with holistic and naturopathic products such as what NWC offers has made an enormous change in my fur kids. Is is easy...no, it's not. I've had to develop a routine, and stay ahead of it, but knowing what I know now I'll never go back to the old way of feeding. These two products, along with NWC Krill oil are a great addition to our supplement bin!

I give this 5 stars because I have a cat who vomits ALL OF THE TIME. We took him to the vet and even specialist. 2000 dollars later, we still don't know what is wrong with him. I did some research, and there is very limited research, but I found that cats can suffer from pancreatitis. The only suggestions I found for cats like this is Enzymes. They need enzymes to digest their food. Well, with the processed for that you buy it is over cooked and un-natural diet for cats. Some cats just don't do well on can food and dry food no matter what brand it is. I started adding MY enzyme called Ultra-Zyme to his food. He stopped throwing up 98% of the time. I started looking for an enzyme for cats and tried a few different ones that were not as complete as Ultra-Zyme. Then I found this one. This Total-Zyme has 16 Enzymes in it. THIS product WORKS! I have 7 cats and several of them have diarrhea problems. This combo of Enzymes and Probiotics seems to be doing the trick. All litter boxes are "runns" free currently. And my vomiter has only done so once in 3 weeks. That is FANTASTIC to me. I would recommend this to any one with picky cats, cats that throw up or have diarrhea. It helps with all of that.

Holy Moley! This stuff is awesome! I have a 10 month old German shepherd who was having continually having mushy, yellow poops and not gaining any weight regardless of how much he eats. He is a pure bred, weighing in at a stable 57lbs. Much to skinny. He was showing no symptoms of anything else, has been wormed, vaccinated, and fixed. I researched online and read several books regarding a pancreas disorder that some GSD's can have. All of the symptoms lined up. I read contradicting things that said they needed porcine pancreas enzymes only to correct this. Others said they tried this, and it worked. I've been using this product on my GSD (both the total-zyme, and total-biotic) in his food twice a day at feedings for only FOUR DAYS. I followed the directions to a T. It WORKED! His poop is regular and SOLID after only FOUR days. I can't wait to see if he gains weight now. I would HIGHLY recommend anyone with these issues to try this first before dropping hundreds on a vet visit for them to recommend a $60 a month treatment plan! Thanks NWC. Two thumbs up.

In January we adopted a blue heeler who was originally kept at a high-kill shelter in Ohio. He's very calm (unusually so for the breed) and seemed a little sluggish considering he's probably between 2 and 4 yrs old. Because of some itching issues, the foster suspected a food allergy, so we put him on a low ingredient diet, but I wanted to make sure I was helping him recover from the stress and conditions he's been in for the last few months. Probiotics have helped me, and it only makes sense that they would help other animals as well. 3 days after we started him on it, he passed worms in his stool (the foster agency had previously dewormed him about a month before). I read up on it, and it appears that probiotics can actually help an animal rid themselves of worms naturally, because they cannot survive in a truly healthy intestinal tract with lots of good bacteria. We de-wormed him again anyway because he seemed to be having some significant discomfort in his digestive system. His energy and alertness has improved, and his itching has decreased significantly. There have been many changes in his life in the last month, so it's hard to credit this product with all of that, but it seems to help reduce gas and he seems to feel more energized and alert. Also, it's a cheap investment - half a year's supply! Totally worth it in my opinion, whatever that's worth.

I have been giving my dog these for many years as she has digestive issues. This has been a great suppliment.

This is the second time I have order this combo for my two small dogs. My Maltese had severe sensitivity to the point where she would not let me touch her. She became very angry almost vicious. I spent tons of money at the Vets trying to cure her. Nothing they did worked. Finally finding the cause quite by accident when I ran out of Frontline Plus during the start of winter a couple of years ago and decided to let her go without it for the winter. She improved immensely. (After all it is a pesticide.) After the first month her seisures stopped, but her sensitivity continued. She had developed a skin condition from the flea and tick medication. I started giving her the Total-digestion twin pack doses and gradually, after nearly six months she allowed me to pet her and pick her up. She also had a slight limp in her back leg and that too has disappeared. Nothing helped but the Total-digestion. It costs a lot, but it lasts a year if you follow directions and I'm not having to take her to the Vet every month anymore. My Maltese weighs only 10 lbs. and she's 12 years old. I put her back on Frontine with a very small dose and only during the summer because last summer I had feas all over the house and they're hard to get rid of. So far she has not had any reoccurance of the limp, the seisures, nor the skin problem. Best of all, she loves me again and lets me touch her. I attribute it all to Total-digestion.

After researching different brands of probiotics and enzymes I decided to purchase these. Great product and value as you only need a tiny scoop and will last a long time. My cats don't even know it's in their wet food and it seems to be helping with digestive issues already. Also good for allergies and much more. Will definitely purchase again! Highly recommend!

I have been using it with my 15 years old dog which has some stomach issue that vets cannot diagnose .( She is unable to digest her food and throw up the food ) . The enzymes and total biotics has certainly help her . She does not throw as frequent ( maybe once a week) versus everyday . She also a lot more enegry for a 15 years old dog.

My dog has been having bad heartburn (rumble guts) and after about 3 weeks on these two formulas it appears to have pretty much cleared up. I am very happy about that because I was feeding him Pepcid AC at least once a week.
