Budget fountain pen vibes.
As someone who regularly uses the lamy safari and other Jinhao products, this pen barely qualifies as a fountain pen. The nib is rough on all kinds of paper and feels coarse to write with. The ink is atrocious. It leaves an extremely faded blue look to text when it dries. Extremely average/bordering on bad fountain pen. I Update:- Seems like the initial cartridges I received with the pen were a bad batch. I've shifted to regular parker quink blue ink and this pen works really well now. Not for writing on poor quality paper though. Updating review to 4 stars.
