Good product
I have a dry, irritated eyes and pingucula. My eyes feel MUCH better and brighter since taking this. People complement my pretty eyes again. I also started taking fish oil and astaxanthin.

Nutrition for Your Macula
A rather small round softgel is easy to swallow and that is really the standard I can review. This particular product by Life Extension includes both Saffron AND Astaxanthin, the latter being very important (years prior, for a short time, I'd taken a different Macugard-like product from Life Extension that lacked Astaxanthin, but was cheaper). I started taking this particular version recently after a surgery for a macular tear more as a healthy way to, hopefully, strengthen the macula and prevent future issues. (Though I've learned it is pulling by the shrinking vitreous fluid that leads to tears or holes, I hope a stronger macular surface will help prevent it - I've not verified this definitely will do it with my doc, but he did not have any issue with me using it when looking over my supplement list.) Still, feeding nutrition needed by the macula is important. See photo for softgel size compared to finger tip)

Taking on Advice of my Eye Doc
