These are fantastic mits. Even my husband uses them. They are durable and easy to wear without making my hands clumsy. The grip is excellent. The heat resistance is great and I am not burning myself on hot bread pans. I which I bought several pairs as I tend to misplace mits.

I'd found a pair of short oven mitts at a store a couple of years ago and fell in love with them. I have small hands and short arms, so "regular" oven mitts feel enormous and awkward. But the little short ones were just right! Unfortunately, through frequent use they were getting pretty sad and I went looking for a replacement. These caught my eye: the measurements were a little smaller than the other "mini" mitts, I liked the ridges on the silicon inner side that seemed like they would aid in gripping items, and I liked that the hanging loop was at the corner of the mitts instead of in the middle. It's been about a week, and I've used them at least once a day, and while they're just a tad bigger than the original set, they work just as well (and the original set didn't have the silicon inner surface). If you find regular oven mitts just too big to conveniently use, these are fantastic.

I have been looking for awhile for a pair of oven mitts that I don't need 5 mins to get my hands in them, their "clamshell" design works well in allowing me to grab hot trays and pans out of the oven without getting into the food. Also, the clunky looking silicone pads are thick and durable. I have grabbed pans out of a 400 degree plus oven and had to hold it for 3-4 minutes without the heat bleeding through to my fingers. I like them even better than I expected and if they ever begin show signs of wear, I'll look to replace them with the same - if they are still being made.
