GGMM E4 Battery Base for Smart Speaker 4th Generation to Make Your 4th Gen Portable, Black (Not Include The Speaker)

I am like most men I do my research extensively and I have to say after reviewing the many "Battery Bases" on the market I found on Amazon the GGMM Company produce the best. The unit arrived within one day or the order, that’s “Amazon Prime” for you. It was very well packaged both in the Amazon packaging and especially the GGMM packaging which was excellent. The battery life of the GGMM E4 Battery Base for Smart Speaker 4th Generation is between 6-8hrs and for those who want to be able to take their Echo with them to other locations in the home or elsewhere its brilliant. In use its best to "Switch it Off" however when not in use as the battery base will run out of juice in a few hours otherwise. My unit is in my bathroom where I cannot have AC power to it. Companies always want to “Talk Up” themselves and the blurb provided by GGMM in their documentation states that they are dedicated providing "Customer Satisfaction." In my experience that has proven to be absolutely correct, and they have certainly done that. The unit I have is "Black" my only observation would be that my personal preference is the white battery base. Instructions that came with it were very clear (unlike so many foreign products nowadays) where “spell checking, and English grammar is neglected” and it was simple to attach and worked straight out of the packaging. The shape is much larger than the previous generation Echo, the radius is about 5in inside the sphere, it’s quite large. It can recognize your voice easily and the response speed is very fast, the sound quality is clearer, the details are handled very well, and the degree of restoration is very high. The best thing is that it is very sensitive to your voice, even when playing high volume music it detects and respond to commands. Another good thing as it’s a Hub it can be paired with many other devices, like other echos, Fire TV or a sound bar for just a couple of examples which can create a great home theatre atmosphere. The mute button at the top stops all voice tracking functions. The operation is also very simple, I am not a first time user so it connected automatically, just plug it in, no need to set up wifi, everything is done automatically. But it also does have some shortcomings - The colour of the power cord does not match the black echo, it’s white and it is very long(see pictures) As the functions of the Echo 4 have been improved over previous Echos with more superior sounds and other functions the use per unit time does consume a little bit more power. Although there is a long lead I sometimes want to use it elsewhere that is not near a plug socket in order to solve this problem, I bought a removable battery base for my echo, it allows my echo to be moved at any time so I’m not limited by power, it’s very portable, it is worth noting that the battery base does not need to match the extra charging cable, it can use the echo's power cable to charge it. The power is adapted, which simplifies my accessories and protects the battery. It is the E4 battery base from GGMM. Hope this helps everyone who buys an echo.

We initially bought the other pack - made for Amazon. It did not work - neither did the replacement. And so we ordered the GGMM pack as the only alternative to fit the Echo. it arrived promptly, and was easy to set up - it was partially charged and so we did not have to wait long to be able to confirm it was all good. Locks easily onto the Echo Would recommend this unit rather than the "Made for Amazon" Mission which failed twice

Have had for a few months now and still hold a great charge. Great for getting Alexa out into the garden. Have also connected Alexa to my phone's network and taken to the beach, the battery lasted longer than we were out so all good.

This battery base from GGMM makes the Echo4 so much more versatile. Whilst the Echo4 is quite a heavy speaker (compared to the Echo Dot) the battery base doesn’t add too much weight and makes it easily moveable from room to room without the need to plug it in.

Doesn't Charge. Shame that this doesn't charge (Should have read the other reviews). Seller not particularly helpful I was unable to find a courier that would ship this back to seller as it contained a faulty lithium battery. Eventually got a refund after a lot of time wasted on line and the phone without having to return it.

Easy to attach, easy to use as a portable battery pack.

Tolle Sache! Funktioniert einwandfrei! Bin angenehm überrascht wie langer Akku vollgeladen hält! Verwenden es mit dem passenden Echo auf der Terrasse. Einfache Montage, fühlt sich wertig an und schaut aus als wäre alles aus einem Guss! Leider musste ich auch meinen ersten reklamieren, aber dieser wurde schnell und unkompliziert ausgetauscht und der funktioniert jetzt ohne Probleme!!! Ich würd Ihn definitiv wieder kaufen! Danke!!!

Único problema é que demora para carregar, no volume 5 ouvindo musica no spotify dura por volta de 10 á 12 horas. Recomendo.

comoda e semplice da usare, bassi super e suono nitido. Consiglio l'acquisto anche se la usate solo per la musica

Habe zwei von diesen Akkus. Laufzeit ist super ca 8 Stunden. Das langsame laben stört mich nicht. Ist im Innenraum sowie so am Netzteil. Gut ist das man ihn ausschalten kann. Ein Akku ließ sich nach 8 Wochen nicht mehr laden. Der Support war super. Nach kurzer Kontaktaufnahme wurde mir ein neuer Akku zugesand.
