BIRDS OF PARADISE (TP) Cornell Lab Publishing (Cornell Lab of Ornithology)

Coloring the pages is an expedition into a study of the lives of 39 species of Birds of Paradise. I find the paragraphs regarding each bird and the color pictures included at the back of the book very helpful, I do research on each species before I color them, as this enhances my personal experience. I appreciate the tremendous effort by Scholes and Laman on their multiyear journeys to New Guinea to bring back the stories regarding the lives of the Birds of Paradise and the artist,Andrew Leach for his amazing sketches. I hope that more people will take a sincere interest into the conservation of these wonderful birds, as they occur nowhere else on Earth and help play an important role in saving planet Earth from the devastating effects of worldwide climate change.

I have 2 other bird coloring books from The Cornell Lab of Ornithology and love them. I look up the birds on-line as well as refer to the provided pictures of the birds when I color them. You can color them any colors you want. I'm learning a lot about birds as there are descriptions about each one.

love it. A little slow in the delivery but a great book if you like to use color pencils.

If you like to color you will enjoy this book very much first try to watch David Attenborough ‘sdvd on birds of paradise.

Arrived with razor slit through packaging and front cover. Cannot be given as gift. Most disheartening.

I really like this book! I was excited to see that the real birds are photographed in the back for comparison but they are mostly all black 😒 boring. So as long as you have some imagination this book is great!
