This 4-inch VIVOSUN aluminum duct has been a great addition to my ventilation setup. The 25-foot length gives plenty of room to route it where needed, and it is flexible enough to work around corners without being difficult to install. It feels well made with its multi-layer construction and has held up well in use. The duct keeps its shape nicely, connects securely to standard 4-inch fittings, and works well for HVAC, exhaust, or 3D printer ventilation projects. Overall, a durable and versatile duct at a good value. Very happy with it.

This 4-inch aluminum foil ducting is extremely well made and far sturdier than I expected. The aluminum layering feels thick and reinforced, not cheap or flimsy, and it holds its shape perfectly once installed. I really like the black outer layer—it looks clean, professional, and helps with light control compared to standard silver ducting. The hose is flexible enough to route easily, yet strong enough that it doesn’t collapse or kink. This is a great product. We’ve used it on our industrial high‑temperature chambers, and it performs extremely well. Some of the hoses have been attached, removed, and reattached multiple times, and they still hold up without any issues. Consistent, dependable, and well‑made — it’s been a solid choice for our applications.

Great quality. Only issue is ordered 16ft and fully extented is 12 ft. Had to order a another one.

I got two of these air ducts for my basement ventilation. My house has no Radon mitigation system, so I want to use a simple way to ventilate the basement. A window fan blows air out at one basement window, and fresh air comes in from another window. But the windows are too close to each other, so I have to use air ducts to let the fresh air to travel about 40ft to the other side of the basement so that the whole space is sufficiently ventilated. I connected two ducts to reach the length. I used hanging straps to hang the duct to the ceiling wood so it's out of way. Now the radon detector shows the level fluctuates between 4 to 9 in the basement. Before ventilation, it reached 20 to 50! The living spaces upstairs has radon levels ranging from 0.2 to 1.0 most times, well below the 4.0 threshold. The side effects of the diy ventilation method is the lower basement temperature in winter (around 50 F) and higher humidity in summer (I run a dehumidifier in basement anyway, only that the electricity use is up). Back to the ducts, they are flexible, easy to expand and shrink in length, easy to install, the aluminum foil is thick. The price is reasonable.

Even though my opening was a bit bigger at about 6.5”, it still stretched to fit without ripping or tearing. It held its shape well and stayed flexible the whole time. The material feels solid enough for regular use and didn’t feel like it was going to fall apart when stretched. One thing to keep in mind is heat. If you’re moving hot air through it, the duct itself will let heat escape, so wrapping it with insulation on the outside would help keep more heat in. Overall, it’s a good, reliable duct for basic venting jobs.

This product does fit after a lot of time. I would not recommend this product, the savings are not worth the struggle to fit it to any 6 inch duct. Allow me to struggle to fit a simple freaking flex tube on a 6" fitting for 10 minutes, post a review, then try for 10 more minutes and I still haven't been able to attach this. Every other 6" flex tube slides right over a 6 inch fitting, LIKE IT SHOULD. Until some high paid fool wants to make it cheaper. YOU DON'T CUT COSTS BY DECREASING A CRITICAL DIMENSION. Nobody is saving money with a product that doesn't work. Ultimately you are wasting resources and pissing off fully capable people. HOW ABOUT TEST YOUR FREAKING PRODUCT FIRST? HOW ABOUT MAKE THE EXECUTIVES FIT THAT TUBE ON THERE?

Inspiriert durch Manfred Welding hat mein Keller nun auch eine Absauganlage erhalten. Der Schlauch ist solide aber nicht störrisch. Er lässt sich gut durchschneiden und auch über den Tisch bewegen. Als Einsaugtrichter habe ich mir aus 20x20mm Quadratrohr einen Halter geschweißt. Damit kann ich jetzt überall auf dem Tisch einfach den Schlauch Positionieren. Generell ist ein Staubsauger schon ein muss, sofern das Werkzeug einen Anschluss dafür hat. Da das aber nicht 100%ig alles einfängt und z.b. beim Laserreinigen der Arbeitsbereich zu groß dafür ist, wird das jetzt damit gemacht.

This worked our perfect! I bought a 6" duct fan, 6" hole saw, a 6" wall mounted vent cap and this tubing was the missing piece. Seemed to be high quality, it was accordion style so I expanded it for what I needed and left the rest collapsed so I didn't have to cut it. No punctures or tears, and I appreciate that it came with the large clamp bands which can be hard to find and just add extra cost. Overall, really happy with this and the 4" one I purchased also!
