I've had sun damaged arms for many years. I was very skeptical about this product. I had tried a dark spot remover on my arms for several weeks with very little difference. I tried this product on both arms for about 5 minutes the first time. There was clearly a fair amount of sun damage that liquified on my right arm (this arm had the most damage), and was visible on the cotton pad I used to spread it. Two days later I applied it again. This time I left it on about 8 minutes. Another two days later I left it on 10 minutes. That is where I am now. I would say the sun damage is about 50% gone at this point. I think it may be completely gone by the time I finish the bottle. If not I will probably use a 70% glycolic solution to finish the treatment. I will update when I am finished.

Excellent peeling qualities, but does dry out the skin you will need a moisturizer. The peel does what it’s supposed to, sheds layers, be careful, it’s strong, especially if you have sensitive skin.

It worked right away only problem is my skin needed more treatment then once a week i use it every other day n tapering down. My skin is like new

There's obviously a lot of variation with respect to what people want in glycolic acid. Personally, I used another brand before this and it burned but it did a very nice job. This brand is really weak. It does virtually nothing to my skin and I can barely feel any burning sensation. It's like water. I question very much whether it is actually 40% glycolic acid.

I've used peels most of m adult life and this is a salon quality peel. I want to say it feels more like a 50% than a 40, but high quality nonetheless. If you are new to peeling, read these directions and then read them again. You can experience severe burns if not. If you are a seasoned peel pro like me, you'll find this peel gets tight right away, with significant resurfacing within 24 hours. For the price its great. Certainly would buy again.

The highly praised reviews for this item do not reflect my experience. This product was entirely ineffective for me. Not a single scratch. Four layers were applied to both hands and both toes, but after six days, there hasn't even been any frost, talkelss of peeling. I am currently returning the merchandise.

Despite research that promised this would eliminate the skin bumps, it did not work for me.

Works well. Follow directions for safe use.
