Great little tool!
Instruction are clear and easy to understand - This is JUST a torque wrench - does not come with any attachments - - In my opinion, it's best for use with bolts up to about 1/2" - if possible, get the bolt or equipment manufacture's specs on max torque. My purchase was for M8 (3/8") bolts at 12Nm One CAN order a wide variety of accessories (personal experience), and, as it's a standard 1/4 inch drive, most users will likely already have most everything that will be needed Once the tension is set, ( up to 150 inch/pounds [in-lb] or 16.9 Newtons/Meter [Nm] - ) there is no need to "read" anything - When the set torque is reached, there is a slight "bump" that is felt through the handle. (if your hearing is better than mine, you may hear a "click") The instructions suggest - wisely - to practice a bit to "get the feel" of proper operation. Personally, as I am getting old and my eyesight is getting bad, I prefer this method - - Because I don't have to struggle to read a scale or a display to know when I've reached the desired torque. (Being a bit of a gorilla, I have a tendency to snap bolts off - especially small bolts (1/2" is "small" to me) - so this tool is a great damage saver) Setting the desired torque is also very simple. Although some folks who are not familiar with the technique may have a short learning curve, it's just a matter of turning a knob until marks line up. The instructions have very clear pictures. The settings are in both ASE and Metric, so it is not necessary to mess around with conversion tables or calculators - although a conversion table IS included with the instructions. One precaution though. This is an all meta tool - if using on electrical equipment (which is my usage) it would be wise to wrap electrical tape around any accessory that may be at risk - and keep it in good shape. Shock hazard aside, a short circuit can cause extreme heat and serious burns. This precision instrument comes, as it should, in a nice hard fabric storage case with a tight zipper - the instructions fold nicely in the case - the tool is held in place in a pocket on one end, a Velcro strap on the handle. This case comes in a plastic bag and in a nice sturdy cardboard box - I store this combination in my home - not the garage or tool box - as befits a fine scientific instrument. One last thought - described in the instructions - my grandfather, a custom jeweler and watch maker, taught me that springs - and this device depends on a spring - springs have "memory" - that is, if left wound up, they loose their temper (as if they got angry and being cooped up too long) and 'forget' what they are supposed to do. SOOOoooo, always change the setting to the lowest point when puting this tool aside - especially when putting it into storage. Otherwise, it will loose accuracy over time.

Nice Torque Wrench for the Cost - Accurate and Handy
It's really nice to have a torque wrench for lighter needs and this one is perfect for it. I have to replace the oil pan on my wife's X3 and they are definitely bolts that cannot be too tight (they're aluminum one time use bolts). This was perfect for my needs. I have a the 3/8" Tekton and 1/4" Tekton wrenches and both are really handy, seem accurate, and are of good quality. They legitimately do feel well mad and have a positive "click" when you reach the assigned torque setting, and both are easy to adjust and read. Overall, these seem to be really nice for the price and I'm very happy with them both.

Happy so far
I've used this wrench for a few days and have been happy with it so far. I bought it mainly for inline skates and bicycles and have tried it on skates, frame and wheel bolts. I haven't tested it for accuracy, except to try it on some pre-torqued and non-torqued bolts. The wrench does inspire some confidence in the way it looks, feels and works. Also, the documentation is good. This wrench isn't the easiest to set a torque on, but it's easy enough. It requires you to turn the knurled handle, while holding the spring-loaded locking ring down and holding the upper silver shaft in place. The dual scales in in-lb and Nm are practical and the torque can be set to any value in the range of the wrench. Putting on bits and removing them on this wrench is easy, by pressing the button for both operations. I've only tested this wrench in a sub-section of its lower ranges so far, 1.8 - 5.5 Nm. In that range, it was very easy to see, hear and feel when the desired torque was reached. It clicks and the wrench head moves a little, as the roller bearing and roller pin roll over each other, as the manual says. My only complaint with this wrench at this time is that mine came with a couple a minor nicks in the black paint on the upper edge of the micrometer scale, even though the box was well-sealed and didn't look like a returned item. This isn't something one likes to see in a new product and the first purchased from a company.

Awesome tool!
As a professional auto tech this is an amazing tool. Snap on wanted over $200 for a quarter inch drive torque wrench that would be comparable to this one. I have used this thing many times in the month that I have owned it and it has worked every time. It is easy to use and read. I love the fact that the ratchet head is a quick release head. This tool is great for getting the right torque on anything that requires low torque such as plastic intake manifolds. The tool does not make a really audible click but you can DEFINITELY tell when you have reached the set torque by the feel of the ratcheting mechanism, again I never have to worry about over torquing a bolt with this ratchet. Overall this is a great tool for the price it works perfect for any pro, DIY, or hobbyist. Also the one that I purchased is the 10-150 in lbs version which is ideal for doing jobs with very low torque ratings.

Works perfect!
This little 1/4" torque wrench is very high quality and works perfectly! Those in the reviews who say it doesn't click, have no idea how to use a torque wrench. I bought this specifically for replacing BMW direct fuel injectors where you need a very low reading torque wrench, and it was absolutely perfect. I should have bought this years ago for smaller bolts and torque values on things like valve covers and oil pans.

This 1/4" Tekton torque wrench (TRQ21101) is of very high quality and it has worked very well for me installing torque-to-yield 89 in-lb water pump bolts. It's small and fits into tight places, and the etched numbers and lines are fantastic - very easy to read. The tool's feel is solid, the function is smooth and tight, and it just feels excellent. This is top-quality IMO. Same league as the box truck names.

Easy to set, with two scales (metric and imperial). Its a bit of hassle on the need to set it back to low tension value for storage.
