Tim Duncan: The Inspiring Story of Basketball's Greatest Power Forward (Basketball Biography Books) Paperback – April 18, 2014

Having recently read and thoroughly enjoyed "James Harden: The Inspiring Story of One of Basketball's Premier Shooting Guards" by Clayton Geoffrey, I was excited to discover he had also written this book about Tim Duncan, another of my NBA idols, as well as books on Steve Nash and Stephen Curry.Mr Geoffrey is obviously an NBA fan and has researched his subject thoroughly. This book is a great biography of one of the greats of the game. The Author goes back to Duncan’s childhood and tells how he got into basketball in the first place. He then goes on to talk about his early difficulties adapting to the college game before moving on to a discussion of his highly successful NBA career. The book has many interesting facts I was previously unaware of.All in all this was another great read. I’m looking forward to reading more of Clayton Geoffrey’s work in the future.Highly recommended!

Tim Duncan gets the respect he deserves, for the most part. It’s not until opening this book that I found out just how dominant he was even against dominant bigs. The Big Fundamental impacted the game in a huge way!

Short and straight to the point. If looking for a short enjoyable book this could be for you. Enjoy it!
