Compared to FiiO's new Jade audio JD3 ($20, single dynamic) Mids on coffee bean are more forward and livley. Thumps more and gets louder Bass hits harder and goes deeper with a satisfying rumble depending how loud you listen I overall prefer the tuning on coffee bean I think it's a funner set. Separation of the vocals and instruments are better on coffee bean. Coffee bean walks all over the CCA NRA ($24, electrostatic + dynamic) when switching back and forth coffee bean wins in all aspects. Better bass better mids better highs and overall cleaner sounding. Bass isn't as clean and as FiiO's fD1 ($60, single beryllium plated dynamic) ofcourse your paying 3x more fD1 is a cleaner sounding set throughout the frequency, but coffee bean hits WAY harder with FiiO BTR5 (wired), also more mid bass on coffee bean it's just smacks hard might be my favorite set to put on foreal. It's that good. Get an amp seriously you won't regret it I'd recommend fiio btr3k or btr5. I love my fiio FH3 my priciest but at higher volumes it distorts all frequencys and I listen pretty loud and I can't stand it because it's my fav at medium volumes but I can't listen to that low of volumes, I usually go to coffee bean or FD1 for a hard hitting set. But coffee bean takes it for me it's smacks so hard. I use Apple Lossless with fiio BTR5 on high gain with USB wired for best sound. No Bluetooth ldac.

The unit I have is the more expensive variant with a mic but they might all have the same internals. Only the manufacturer can say for certain unless someone buys both. The vendor advertises these as having a 20-20kHz response range, but in testing, bass is still audible and clear at as low as 14Hz when using a cheap DAC (17Hz without the DAC). For perspective, humans can't generally hear anything less than 10Hz. Highs don't drop off for me until very near 20kHz. They don't have have any active noise cancellation, but because of the tight fit, they perform that function just as well a pair of active noise cancelling ear buds that I own. They isolate very well. Other reviewers anecdotally mention clear highs, lows, etc., but these are clear at any frequency. The equipment these are paired with will dictate the quality of sound you receive. Notes: The "silver/gold" is resin - not metal. The single button mutes the earphones, but there is no appreciable volume control built in. The photo for the silver/gold variants is a bit misleading, but they don't look bad or cheap. The audio plug has a right angle which might not be ideal for some people. The TFZ pins are very, very snug and aren't likely to come out unless you want them to. One of my DACs cuts out at 14kHz even though the earphones are capable of higher so if you notice drop offs, check your equipment.

Audiophile quality sound except that the bass seems accentuated. Fit is good, comfortable. Wires tend to tangle but plug into earbuds so can be potentially be changed. Instructions are minimal and wires serve as "ear hangers" and so not obvious which way to plug them into the earbuds ."R" and "L" should be clearly marked on the earbuds rather than being hard to find on the wires. Seems well made. A potentially great set of earbuds with some flaws.

These earpieces are spectacular! I converted them to Bluetooth to make them even more versatile. The sound quality is just amazing. I got an extra pair for my Quest 2 to replace bulky headphones and I'm impressed with the deep and rich sound from these. Great product!

I really did love these. I have had them for 2 months and the sound has begun to stall in one ear and shift from ear to ear. Before that the sound was great.

Gotta admit, this is the first time I buy EIM's, but I am completely satisfied with the purchase. The sound quality is great and the noise cancelling is amazing.

I have never used in ears before, I have always used studio headphones with full ear surrounds. As a drummer, sometimes in a shield, sometimes not, that has always been my standard. We have a couple of special services where IEMs will be better so as a first pair I figured this was safer than spending a few hundred dollars. I was excited to try them out so I put them in, connected them to my Bluetooth receiver to connect to my phone right away. I should have turned on the receiver BEFORE I put them in my ears. These are LOUD!! Long story short, these sound amazing with my phone at only about 10-15% volume, and I couldn’t hear the music that my daughters were playing in the same room. I’m looking forward to using these playing drums at church to see how they sound when I can control the full mix of the rest of the band. So far, I have no doubt that I made the right choice as my first pair of IEM. I will update the review as necessary after using them in different situations.

I dont know how this device works because "IT DID NOT COME WITH A CHARGER!!!" It said nothing about a charger being sold separately, in the product description. Had I known, I wouldn't have purchased it.

_the sound is actually quite warm so if you don't like warm-sounding headphones then I recommend the KS1 or the ZSN PRO both can be found on Amazon (I've tried both). First off, the sound; the sound is the typical "vee" sound. This means that it's got a little extra bass and a little extra treble or top end. However, these are very fun-sounding earbuds that pack a punch, all the sounds are quite smooth and silky, and are quite sophisticated. The bass is punchy but done in a tasteful way, the treble is really smooth and has good volume, and the mids are quite well-balanced. As far as comfort goes, this is entirely objective so I'm just going to judge the ear tips and the wingtips, both are made from a very nice feeling of silicon and the ear tips feel really good in the ears they are soft and come in multiple sizes. The wire is actually the biggest downside to these, it is cheap ugly, and gets tangled so easily, however, I managed to pick up replacements on aliexpress for 12 bucks.

The Product arrived faster than expected and upon opening it I was surprised. The IEMs are packaged very well leaving me with a beautiful unboxing experience. Being both affordable and really good quality I would recommend these to everyone. The IEMs are very loud and have amazing drivers for the price when they are compared with other IEMs in the market. They are very light and hook around your ear so that they do not fall off easily and are super lightweight so you do not even realise you are wearing them even after long periods of time. They have a very rich sound with a deep bass and stereo sound. The box IEM's come with 3 ear tips in the box making it suitable for everyone, (Small, Medium, Large). The IEMs themselves have a really clean and smooth finish making them both stylish and a really good set. To me personally the IEMs fit very well with the standard ear piece given in the box
