This is an excellent product. My daughter wouldn’t have splurged on herself, but what are moms for if they can’t spoil their loved ones. If you want to splurge on a great eyebrow pencil, this is the one!

I have a clump of about 12-15 hairs making up one of my eyebrows (the norm is 250-300 hairs); I lost the rest of my eyebrow to frontal fibrosing alopecia. The skin is completely smooth and shiny without hair follicles, so there's nothing to grab onto, which makes it extra challenging for any kind of brow product to stay put. I've tried everything from pens to gels to pencils, all of which promise to stay put--and yes, I do prep the area first--but inevitably, at some point during the day, that one eyebrow will disappear; I'll be mortified, and I'll wonder just how many people saw me without my eyebrow. So my search continued. I'm SO grateful and happy to report that this product actually stays on until I wash it off with soap! Second, the color is perfect--accurate--and natural. Third, the tip is really thin, so I can draw little hairs and my eyebrows don't look like I drew them on with Sharpie. And finally, it hasn't irritated my skin or caused any inflammation that might result in me losing more hair. Phew! Wishing you eyebrows you can be proud of--or at least not ashamed of--all day long!

I primarily use BareMinerals cosmetics and love most of their products. I hadn't experimented with many eyebrow products and just used their pencil when I got into grooming my brows, because I use them for most other things. However, the Tarte pencil was recommended by Desi Perkins in one of her YouTube videos, so I decided to give it a go. MAJOR DIFFERENCE. I have oily skin, and hadn't realized that the BareMinerals pencil just cannot stand up to a full day of wear-- I was always losing my brows at the end of the day! I'd thought it was just me. But no-- with the Tarte pencil, my eyebrows last hours longer and don't look like they're oily or could be wiped off. I use this Tarte pencil in combination with the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow and it's the perfect pair to keep my brows looking well-groomed and natural. CASE STUDY: I was at a work community volunteering event earlier this summer, and we ended up working outside for an hour in a torrential downpour. Despite being soaked from head to toe, my eyebrows still looked PERFECT at the end of our project. You do get what you pay for, and while this pencil is about $10 more than the BareMinerals one, I'll be sticking with this.

I purchased 2 tarte Amazonian clay waterproof brow pencil-medium size-full size and 1 box was empty and the other box had the wrong color pencil. I wish to have a refund for these two items.

I love this pencil. I have dark brown hair and generally pencils for me are either too light or too dark and you can tell that I am using a brow pencil. I'm more of a "I'm wearing makeup but it's natural looking so this is what I really look like haha" kind of girl. This pencil is perfect. I've used the Tarte Amazonian Clay Waterproof Brow Pencil for the past 5 years and am very satisfied (very, very). I subscribe to several subscription boxes (i.e. Ipsy, glossybox etc.) and receive the newest brow pencils throughout the year. They don't compare. While this pencil is expensive it is worth it. BTW, no one can tell when I use this pencil - nothing looks "drawn".

Good eyebrow pencil, it was hard to find a brown without red undertones but this is it. Expensive though and found that ultas brand is a good dupe.
