I was a bit concerned about reviews that mention the magnet is not as strong as Dyson products, but wanted to try it for myself. I can say this attachment stays on perfectly! (I can imagine a heavier one might not, if it uses the same strength magnet.) I wasn't quite sure how it would impact air flow, but hoped for less tangling, and that is what it does. I'm really happy with it, and highly recommend, if you would like to tone down the airflow, but still dry your hair! Go on, grab one for yourself!

I was hopeful but unfortunately the magnet isn’t strong enough to hold so it’s pretty useless.

I was annoyed with the cost attributed to the new Dyson attachments.... if you are paying THAT much for a hair dryer how do they think it's okay to charge THAT much for an attachment. Boggles the mind. This works, and its worth the price. I like it for targeting my roots. I liked the price as well in comparison.

Snaps on easily with the magnetic lock. Holds well. Great value.

I found the original Dyson attachment I thought I lost, so I now have both I can compare directly. 1. The original Dyson is the darker, black one at right. This “off-brand” is the lighter, gray one at left 2. Material: similar in appearance and feel, but the Dyson original feels more dense and substantial 3. The magnet: not nearly as strong, as other reviews have noted. This one does not have the same satisfying “snap” as the Dyson when it attaches. But, the weaker magnet does NOT seem to impact performance, because it did not fall off or come off easily during use. Reasons 2 and 3 are why I gave this 4 stars vs 5. If the prices were close, I’d say stick with OEM Dyson brand. But this off-brand item works, and is about 85% close to the original. However, it’s also about 75% cheaper than the OEM price. Considering the price of this, I’d say it’s worth giving this item a try.

It fits like a glove and works well! I’m very glad I bought this accessory for my Dyson hair dryer. The diffuser helps distribute the hot air, which I found is better for my fine hair as the Dyson hair dryer can push out hot air a bit too hot for my fine hair so the diffuser is wonderful to help tap down the heat and still use this wonderful hair dryer.

I have no regrets with this purchase! It fits snuggly onto the Dyson and works perfectly!

No reason to get an official Dyson attachment, this one is solid as can be. You will never be able to tell the difference other than your wallet's weight depending on which one you buy. But this one.

It instantly gives much gentler flow, bought it for my kid and I’m satisfied with it.

Found it makes my hair really knotty.
