Very Good Quality & Price! These Have Very Little Play In The Hinge for Vertical Installation. I Needed These for a T-316 Stainless Burn Barrel Project To Hinge a Door In The Bottom To Clean Out Ash, So I Cut a section Out 8"x7" and Hinged The Piece Back As a Door With a 316 Stainless Hasp! The Only Negative To These Hinges Is That the Hinge Pin Attracts to a Magnet So That Is Not 316 But To Be Honest everything made is Like That! As Long As I Don't See Rust Dripping from the Hinges over Time I will be Fine. After Buying Steel 55 Gallon Drums and Making The Burn Barrels Only To Rust Out every few years After The Paint Burns Off the First Time You Burn It! I Made The (John DeLorean) Inspired INSANEERATOR to Burn all Burnable Trash Saving On Town Bags and Eliminating The Ugly Rusted Eyesores The Steel Barrels Are. Every Time I Had Made a Burn Barrel I Would Re-Use The Stainless Cover Handle looking like New After Many Years So T-316 Will Out Last Anything Or Anyone On The Planet! Making A Burn Barrel Is a lot Of Work Only To Have To Keep Doing It Every 2-3 Years (RUSTED OUT) and They Never Look Good! So Instead Of Buying Town Bags at $5.00 a bag and a Steel Open-Top Barrel every few years for $160 Plus Shipping $105.00 I Spent $800 For a Beautiful Last Forever Trash Incinerator! In 5 Years It Will Pay for Itself! I am Entertained Reading Reviews Of Some Stainless Products Like Gate Latches/Hinges Etc. That Have Pictures Of How Its All Rust After 3 Days! Rust Is a Brown Stain So That's Not Any kind Of Stainless Steel! That's Chinesuim Stainless Trash. CON: The Only Improvement On This Product Would Be a 316 Stainless Hinge Pin. Very good quality! Even the screws are!
I was very impressed with the quality of these hinges. The packaging as well was well received and done right. I am thinking of getting more of these for the rest of the boat. The polishing for each one. The mechanical interface of the hinges and joints was excellent. No slop at all. Very happy!
