What size works for the external dimension of the stamp at 6mm? I bought the 6mm version but it takes 9mm external sized stamps.

I learned that I couldn’t use the measurement of the stamp emblem. You have to measure the diameter of the outside of the stamp shaft. It will be different than the size of your image.

I like holding the metal stamp with my bare hand and ...

This is just my personal opinion but I don't think the jig helps very much when it comes to getting your letter stamped Street. It's one more thing in my way and one more thing I have to worry about slipping or coming out of my hand. I like holding the metal stamp with my bare hand and creating jewelry that way… Just my opinion. I can however see how it may be beneficial for other people though. To each their own
