Excellent clean protein
Excellent protein powder, easy to digest, mixes easily, and has no taste or smell. Dissolves easily when I blend it into a smoothie briefly. I blend the whole smoothie before adding the powder so that it doesn’t froth. Highly recommended. Third party tested.

Excellent texture, no tummy upset and you can arrive at a neutral taste with some tweaks.
First time i opened and dipped my finger in to taste, i literally said "oh no". It was not neutral on it's own. Then i tried it in a smoothie, a combo of a scoop of this, a scoop of pure egg white powder, a banana and raspberries bluberries. It was very slightly offputting but had some clumps. I decided to try the vitamix instead of the bullet. The second bite, much better, and the third bite I didn't taste a thing. At first I sensed a "burnt" flavor, that went away. But I am sensitive to all collagen supplements and bone type supplements and usually fail at covering them up and end up choking them down. I might be a bit paranoid and that's why the first experiences I have to push through and see if i can come out on the other side of it. I think you adapt to this powder and if you keep modifying recipes, you will achieve full coverage and reap the benefits. I decided to make another smoothie today and I loved it! Same ingredients, same person, same mixer....it was just fine. It was actually delicious and I wanted more. I guess I've gotten over my hump. No Clumpiness if you use the right blender, the smoothie blender wasn't sufficient. It was creamy and a great texture after the vitamix. My second smoothie was delicious and prepared exactly as the first, I can only say you adapt or you don't start out paranoid like me. It's kind of like when you taste a dessert and the first bite is way too sweet but then it gets less sweet as you eat it. Now I'm craving my smoothie for tomorrow. Zero tummy upset which is why i sought out this product. I think this would be great added to soups and beans and broths and will also use it in this way. Flavorless...no...but you can obtain a delicious meal if you make simple tweaks to your recipes. Yesterday, i may have been on the fence, today I'm adding it to my subscription.

Excellent source of protein powder
Excellent. I added to a hot soup and it mixed very well. It has a a lot of protein 27 grams per scoop and very little phosporus, that I have to watch.

I used the unflavored. Smells like a wet dog and wont mix..
I know i am an extreme case. My collagen peptides from another brand, dissolves immediately. I read that they are not a good source of protein and tried this. I have Gastroparesis and autoimmune disease and am sure i am malnourished, due to eating so little. It wont mix and i dont drink juice due to blood sugar issues. I tried eating the clumps, but it tasted bad. I have extreme fatigue and it was such a hassle to make because i ended up using an electric mixer and had to make it with coconut milk, chocolate powder and honey , which is bad for my sugar issues. . I had to decide which was more important , my blood sugar or the starvation and needed protein. It was very thick and just too much for my stomach. I threw up the mixture and the tea, i had the powder soaking in, smelled like a wet dog, which made me gag. Perhaps if u are health and can use sugar and juice..and dont mind using an electric mixer, then it could work for you.

Finally- a great creamy smoothie for people with cow's milk allergies
I love this protein powder!! (I do have a high powered blender, though, so mixing is not an issue for me.) I've been looking for years to find a protein powder that tastes good and isn't whey, since I'm inconveniently allergic to milk. The vegetarian and vegan powders are gritty and hard to choke down. It's rare to find a protein powder that isn't loaded with extras- vitamins, probiotics, inulin/chickory fiber, etc. (Come on people!! fiber + protein = smelly gas.) And it's almost impossible to find one that isn't flavored or sweetened with stevia, acesulfame K, or sucralose, etc. Ugh. I hate the cloying aftertaste of artificial sweeteners, so the unflavored PurePaleo is the way to go! I'm free to add whatever flavors I want, and the shakes are creamy and have great mouthfeel. Now if someone could just figure out how to make seedless raspberries, my smoothies would be perfect.

4 Stars - Excellent protein source, just prepare for the texture
Let me get the one downside out of the way first: this stuff is sticky. Really sticky. If you spill it while it's mixed, you're in for a cleanup project. The wet powder clings to surfaces, and the mixed consistency is somewhat slimy due to the collagen content. That's just the nature of bone broth protein. Keep a towel nearby and don't mix it over your keyboard. Now the good stuff. 26g of protein per serving from grass-fed Swedish cows. Dairy-free, paleo-friendly, no GMOs. This is a legitimate alternative for anyone who can't do whey or wants the added benefits of collagen peptides for joints, skin, and gut health. The unflavored version actually is unflavored. It blends into smoothies, coffee, or savory dishes without adding unwanted sweetness or artificial taste. I've mixed it into soups and sauces without anyone noticing. Designs for Health is a practitioner-grade brand, which means the sourcing and testing standards are higher than typical retail supplements. You pay more, but you know what you're getting. If you can tolerate the texture quirks, this is one of the best beef protein isolates on the market. Just don't make it over the carpet.

Good non-dairy protein, needs help with flavor
Great protein powder if you are sensitive to dairy like I am. The flavor of the unflavored variety is not great as others have mentioned and you will need to use a blender. I also tried the vanilla but it was too sweet and I prefer to use my own flavors and sweetener anyway. I use a nutribullet to blend this with other ingredients mostly for tube feedings but I also make smoothies to drink with berries, coconut milk, and a some Stevia. It will make a very thick shake if you don’t use enough liquid but the right combination of ingredients and liquid will make a drinkable smoothie.

Clean
High protein, single ingredient. It does have a slight smell/taste, but id easily hidden in a smoothie.

Huge jar!!!
Smells bad when you open the jar. But is totally flavourless in food and drink.

Protein powder that doesn’t cause IBS!!!!!
This is the only protein powder I can tolerate. I have a very sensitive stomach and with IBS symptoms. I cannot tolerate dairy, so whey is out of the questions, and pea protein gives me horrible stomach pain. I’m so thankful I can have Designs for Health protein powder, or I’d not be achieving my recommended protein intake. The chocolate blended with frozen cherries is the best, and the unflavoured blended with frozen mangos is also delicious.
