Best hose I've ever bought
I've been a full time resident of a fifth wheel RV since 2013, and stationed entirely in the SW since I bought it. The heat and sun is hard on sewer hoses so I have been through several. This is the best hose I have bought so far and was worth the few extra dollars. The material is much thicker than the others I have bought and the best part was the fittings are already on the hose ends and fused, so it was a 15 second hook up with no messing around with pipe clamps and trying to get it so it doesn't leak. I would recommend this for anyone in an RV, the ease of set up alone is worth it, and not worrying about getting poopy water on your hands is priceless.

Strong
Sewer hose is strong. But is too stiff for my purposes. It works well, but I like to shake or nudge the hose a little sometimes if thereโs a block or flow is slow- and this one is really stiff, not flexible. But works for time being

Good sewer hose
Iโve only used it once so far but it seems pretty sturdy. No issues at all with connecting it to my RV and the other end connected well to the sewer at the campground. One of the caps to close the hose ends did not fit on one end of the hose to totally seal it but I cleaned it out pretty well so I am not going to worry. I store it in a Rubbermaid tub.

Luv It. Works great
It works great. Zero issues. I read other reviews on this and can't understand there issues. It stretches out and stays out untill you push it back together. Fits in my RV bumper with out a problem. Hooks up great, cleans out easy, stores in the bumper with out any issues. Love the caps that come with it too. There is an adapter with a handle that comes with it that I choose not to use and it still works great. Thetford makes a lot of RV toilets incudling the one in my Heartland, so I figured they have there crap under control. lol And they do. I would recomend and already have to people several times now while waiting in the dump line.

Great but not
So... I love that this is a Made in USA hose first off, that's what made me choose it over the Rhino I had in my old 5th wheel. The quality is great, I feel like the end connectors will never fall off or leak. The seals a great and good plastics were used in the hose and connectors on the hose. you can step on the hose and it just goes back to normal (who does this? I did test lol) However, it came up short in a couple of ways. First off, when you collapse it down it doesn't want to stay that way, it kinda pushes itself open again, maybe like 25%. For now, it's fine, I only have 1x 15', but when I get a second one I'm not sure it's gonna fit in my bumper, it might try to push out the other side if I'm pushing two in there. Second, the elbow for attaching to sites drains I have issues with. The connection from Hose to elbow pops off pretty easily if you are stretching the hose at all. The Handle on the part you screw into the site drain is super flimsy and just bends on you under and stress. I don't expect it to last long at all. Lastly, the way the elbow connects to the screw in part is lame, its just little tabs, it just pops off under any kind of stress. Needless to say, on my first time using the hose, (yea first time) I had an incident that stunk bad. I have been RV camping for 6 years now and this was my first. I was just at 15' from the drain and the hose was fully expended and the elbow just kept popping off when weight got in the hose. So we ran tanks closed for a few days. Then I had to have my wife pull the drain while I used two hands to hold the Hose to elbow and elbow to screw part together while we drained the tanks. now that said, the rest of the trip I was closer to the drains, no tension at all, and did not have any issues. When I had a problem I wasn't stretching it or anything just fully extended and a bit of tension when the weight got in the hose. My other hose never had a problem like this. I will get something different? No. Its still a very nice hose and I am making an effort to go Made in USA. I will just get getting a new of the elbow of some kind, likely another brand for the site drain side and calling it good. I will also be getting an additional 10' extension. Hopefully, they revise this product with a better 90* elbow for connecting to sites.

Good hose
Very well made. Only caution is the long neck under the claw--if you don't have enough clearance it can be really tight space to attach it.

Living up to expectations
Received the item on schedule. The product is heavier-duty than I was expecting - that is a good thing. Used it the following weekend and the hose connected well to the RV and dump station with good seals. The connectors connected perfectly and smoothly and was not difficult at all. Where the hose is more rigid it does not bend as easily but that is also a good thing in my opinion. You can move material through the hose easier when you pick the hose up. The hose also cleaned up well after use. Depending on where you store it, it may take up more space versus a flimsy hose. I suspect it will be difficult to puncture this hose as well which is something everyone wants to avoid. I would buy this again.

Tough hose, and adjustable by purchaser if length is not compatible with your RV
After much searching of reviews for the "best" RV sewer hose I decided to try this Thetford Titan model, due to the good reviews on this model, and the many poor reviews of the major competitor. I liked the idea of the competitor's swivel fittings, but found far too many accounts of leakage at their fittings, so am trying the Thetford instead. It arrived fast and well packaged. It is very heavy duty TPE (Thermal Plastic Elastomer) material, a big upgrade from the cheap vinyl of many low grade hoses. This material also has thick plastic rings that protect the exterior from abrasion, and should provide a long life of use. The end fittings are substantial, and attach securely, and appear to seal well to the gaskets, on both my trailer 4-prong sewer fitting, and to the included sewage dump adapter fitting. The flexible rubber seals inside the trailer end and the dump adapter contact just enough to seal and provide a slight turning resistance, but not so much as to make attachment difficult. Hopefully the seals last a long time, and if replacement is needed the seals are sold separately as replacements by Thetford. There is a price to be paid for using this heavier material. This TPE material does not compress nearly as much as the cheap vinyl models. The 15 foot model I purchased was approximately 95" long fully compressed, including fittings at each end. This was too long to fit in the sewer hose storage compartment attached under my R-Pod camper, which is 62" long, by 4 3/8" inner diameter. This hose and the fittings fit inside the holder with room to spare as far as diameter goes. But the length was too long by 33". I did find however that there is no secret to the fittings attaching to this Thetford hose. The hose and fittings are simply a large diameter screw thread design, with a very tight fit, and a clear silicone gel lubrication/sealant. The silicone is a non-hardening gel type. To make this hose fit my R-Pod, I lightly clamped the longer trailer-end fitting in my soft-jaw vice, un-threaded the hose from the fitting, cut 33" off the hose, wiped the silicone gel off the original hose connection and smeared it on the newly cut end, then re-threaded the hose to the fitting. The hose turns on very snugly to the fitting, and the silicone gel provides both lubrication and a sealing action, kind of like a thick grease. This quick and easy modification allowed this great hose to be shortened to fit my holder, and confirmed to me the quality of both the hose and fittings. The hose is harder to compress than the typical vinyl/steel stinky slinky, but it does indeed compress after being extended. You have to manually push it back to compression mode in sections and it snaps back into it's shorter version. The good thing about the way this works is that when pulled open to the expanded mode it stays in that mode without pulling back on you. I did my work for fitting and compressing in very early season, outside, in temperatures right around the freezing mark, (O celsius / 32 F), so it should get better when the weather warms to normal camping weather, but proving both the flexibility of this material at low temps, its ability to compress and extend, and the toughness as it did not become brittle or hard while working with it. I'm not looking forward to having to use this product ... but I am looking forward to this it making a nasty job slightly less miserable, and hopefully without the issue of leaks and spills. I'll update at the end of the camping season with a performance review. So far, it appears to be a high quality product.

Hose is good quality, the adapter is annoying to use
The hose is of good quality; however, the adapter for the camping drain did not fit any of the campsites I visited. The adapter's handle is awkward to screw in and often gets caught at the 90ยฐ angle.
