** I would like to add that while they are technically reusable I would recommend NOT reusing them after a certain time. I emptied one from last season and refilled it. The jar is working perfectly fine, and continues to catch flies. However the dead fly detritus that I emptied into a plastic bag and then tossed in my trash can has become a swarm of fly larvae. Hundreds of little worms hatched with in a day of rustling up and disturbing the trap. So either learn from my mistake and if you intend to reuse the jar, empty it and refill promptly. ** This thing is great and disgusting at the same time. We live downtown and have dogs so we get a ton of flies in our yard, and this this is great. I got this jar one and the bait replacements and the jar gets filled up with flies in a month. The smell is awful... something between dog poo and death, but the flies go straight to it. To change the bait I put on disposable plastic gloves and dump the contents into a plastic ziplock bag and zip it up and throw it away on garbage day, gloves and all. I also keep it in the furthest corner of my yard which keeps the smell from being intrusive.

Works great but the smell is out of this world in a bad way do not hang close to the house

The fly trap worked very well, however, there was a very strong odor. We had to remove from garage. I would purchase again as it caught a lot of flies but put in a place without direct foot traffic to main house.

Though this product did catch a few flies I would not say it stands up to regular fly tape and don’t get me started on the stench. It was unbelievable. I put this in my garage left for the day when I got back. I almost was sick instantly walking in my garage, the smell of whatever liquid packet is in product permeated my entire 2 1/2 car garage on a cool day in a matter of hours. It is the worst smell I have ever smelled

yes it catches flys but after 2 days it stinks to high heavens
