Well made, do a great job protecting ears from loud noise. A tad too stiff when you snap them back away from the helmet, took effort to snap them back. Will likely loosen up with more usage, I’m sure

Peltor is a premium hearing protection brand. That's the reason I wanted to give these a try. I have a Milwaukee brand full brim hard hat and despite what others may have experienced, as you can see in the photos, these fit perfectly fine and created a good, firm seal while maintaining comfort. I think there are two reasons others may have had a different experience than me: 1) THE USER MUST FULLY ENGAGE THE MUFF BRACKETS! There is a bracket setting that keeps these slightly off your ears, but if you push down on the muffs a little harder, they will completely engage and fully seal. 2) The Milwaukee Full Brim has cut outs on the side brims to allow for clearance with this ear pro. I cannot comment on other types of helmets. I'm a satisfied customer and Peltor products continue to save my hearing (just don't let my wife know 😉).

The ear muffs work great on brimless hard hats. Our company uses hardhats with brims extending out about an inch which will not work with this product. I had to purchase a new hardhat from Home Depot for these to work properly.

I use a chainsaw quite a bit and my ears were always ringing afterward. I knew I was doing damage to my ears. I didn't want to sacrifice safety and wear ear protection without a hard hat. I did quite a bit of research before deciding on these. They fit my hard hit perfectly. They click right into place and feel secure. I love that they are always attached to my hard hat so I don't have to go searching for them every time I'm cutting. They are also very comfortable. I had been a bit hesitant to wear ear protection fearing I wouldn't be able to hear a branch breaking above. I was pleasantly surprised that I could still hear these things and even someone yelling to me. So it doesn't eliminate all noise, it just brings it down to a safe level (at least as far as my chainsaw is concerned). Well worth the price to save your ears from hearing loss!

Great noise cancellation ear muffs, blocks out the sound. Best part is that attached on the hard hat, the ear muffs really "cups" your ears so it properly covers it. I would definitely recommend these pair of hearing protection! It's feels snug fit and comfortable.

First off, I have to disclaimer that the first thing to happen to these is being modded with a dremel tool to enable use of the Sena 10R Bluetooth system. These are being adapted for use with a Bern helmet that I use in flight with a paramotor. (A paraglider flown with a 2 cycle engine strapped to my back...I.E. I'm a buttfan pilot.) The noise level generated by the prop and engine directly behind me is considerable to say the least. I've never checked db range with a meter but, hearing damage is a guarantee without adequate protection. These function flawlessly for the task I use them for. I can hear my wife perfectly when she calls to make sure I'm not in a tree or whatever else an aviators wife is concerned about. All in all, if you plan to cannibalize these out of the box like I did to take a system or if you plan to use them on the ground... These will serve you well....unlike the issued combat earplugs from a previous occupation..cough cough..I'm looking at you 3m you tinnitus creating monster you.

These work pretty well for the intended use. Clips right on the hard hat and no more annoying plugs on stings.

I do construction work with Habitat. Pneumatic framing nailers and Ramset powder nailers (explosive) make a lot of noise. These ear muffs eliminate most of the the noise. Really pleased with the performance.
