Concealed Carry Purse - Leather Tooled American Cowhide Crossbody by Gun Tote'n Mamas (Black)

I asked for this handbag for Christmas. I have a concealed carry permit but I've never actually carried my gun in public. I decided that with all that is going on in the world I wanted the option to discretely carry my weapon. From a fashion standpoint the bag is cute. At first my adult daughter didn't know that it was designed for a gun and she thought it was really nice. When my adult son (who also has a concealed carry permit) figured out the purpose he was also impressed. The weapon pocket at the back is designed with Velcro strips so I can attached the holster in any position I want (right or left draw). It's a two way zipper so I can position the pulls to be in just the correct position for quick access. The flap pocket in the front has a cell phone pocket and places for credit cards. The only downside is that the cell pocket is much too small for my Galaxy Note 5 (or any of the newer, larger cell phones). The center, larger compartment will easily fit my small wallet and a few other items. Note: this isn't a bag in which to carry a ton of stuff but I don't have a problem with that. Finally, the strap is easily adjustable to set it up to be a cross body bag.

I purchased the red bag from a chain sports store. Decided I liked it so much I wanted the black bag also. When I went back to the store they had sold out. When I searched Amazon, they had the Black and Tan purses at almost a third less of what I paid in the store. So you know I bought both!! The conceal carry zip allows left or right draw which I like. And for a smaller purse you really can’t tell I have a 9 mm in it. I am disappointed in the snap/ magnetic closure on the other side meant to carry id and credit cards. It seems loose and not secure to protect those items. But I love that the strap has a cable through it to stop it from being cut off your shoulder. I have had many compliments on the red bag, and positive comments on the embossed pattern. And people are surprised when I tell them I’m carrying! They had no clue. Definitely a happy purchase and it arrived quickly.

Great bag, little heavy as crossbody.

Looked at numerous CCW purses for months, even at gun shows. Many were exorbitantly priced for genuine leather, poor design, not stylish, too large or had just a tacky look. I was hesitant about the cost and quality sight unseen of this CC purse. Well I have to say I ♡♡♡ this purse. Elegant style, quality craftsmanship, perfect size & roominess, high quality tooled embossed leather, cut proof straps, plenty of room in compartments. Best of all, the included holster fit my Walther CCP perfectly with plenty of room in the zippered CC compartment with no show of imprint. This elegant looking leather purse can go from day to evening, church, etc without anyone knowing it's for CC. I absolutely recommend this CC purse and will be purchasing again from Gun Tote'n Mamas (GTM).

It's a little bigger than I usually carry, but the smaller version didn't flex enough. Its well made and attractive, the light interior allows me to see whats in there. My only complaint is that the front compartment , the one that holds cards and such, keeps unzipping. For that reason I gave it 3 srars and may return it. This is my first CC purse and I like that that compartment zipper adjusts to where ever you are comfortable.

I've gotten many compliments on how this purse looks. It's a little heavy for a crossbody, but it holds everything I normally carry in a purse plus a Glock 43. I like the adjustability of the holster and can tilt it just right. It could be just a touch taller to accommodate a larger smart phone, but I just turn mine and tuck it at the bottom of the front organizer and it's still easy to reach.

This is the second time I have bought the same purse and I love it! It not only works well as a concealed carry purse but has a really great organizer (which I require since I do not like a wallet) and the main compartment has two pockets and is still big enough to cram in a last minute item, such as a bottle of water. I hope Gun Tote'n Mamas will continue to carry this style because I will probably need to replace again in 5 years. Definitely a bargain!

Okay--ready? If you are left handed or big chested this is the purse for you. I recently went to a gun show and will tell you purses by Montana (the ones that look like they are for hookers) do not have a holster inside the purse. This purse side completely unzips and there is a Velcro holster that stays open (doesn't collapse when the gun is removed) inside that you can yank out and turn however you want the gun to sit. I have a heavier 9 mm and this purse is fine with it Also, there is a wire cable through the strap so no one can cut your strap to steal your purse. this purse is not as huge as many of the others I have seen (see measurements) so you aren't carry a suitcase. I purchased and returned a purse at the gun show because the straps were shorter, but because of my chest size and my wedding ring on my firing hand, I could not safely and quickly remove the gun from the purse. This is a purse you can casually slid the zipper down and either pull the gun or shot through the purse quickly with confidence.The cons-are small-but somewhat annoying. The reason I purchased the other purse, is that the center where you put all your "stuff" is deep and makes it hard to find things. I would change the other side of the purse from a magnet (which messes with some security badges) to a zipper side just like the side where the gun is kept. That small change would had earned a ten rating from me.
