This powder comes with a very tiny little scoop inside the package. Look for it as it can be easily missed. I add this little scoop amount into my smoothie and it blends well. There's no scent or flavor to this powder. I've been taking this for about 2 weeks now, and there has been no side effects. I like how it has no other ingredients, as I do not like taking even vegetable capsules. I'm taking this as a preventive measure, especially for cognitive and mental health support. Only complaint I have is that the package is very big for the small amount powder, which feels wasteful to the environment when throwing away the bag.

Capping them was a hassle, but I think it saved me money. Not sure about that, because the powder sticks to your hands. I wasn't happy how much product was included in the package, it seemed skimpy. I'd get another brand when I buy again.

I utilize benfotiamine for diabetic neuropathy and (hopefully) long-term reduction in diabetic tissue damage. I have utilized many different brands and formulations over the past 30 years and normally notice an almost immediate (days) improvement in neuropathy pain. This product did provide noticeable relief from the neuropathic symptoms, so I can attest that it is effective. Additionally, the company was responsive to my questions prior to the order. The downsides of this product are: 1) I ordered a 1/2 ounce package, which arrived in a ziplock package with enough room for a pound! This combined with no scoop (edit: found the scoop buried in the powder after a few days, so added a star) or other means to transfer the product to gelcaps, makes dosing somewhat difficult and slightly messy. 2) The price is above average at the 1/2 ounce size, although it is closer to average at the larger sizes. 3) Although I believe it to be genuine benfotiamine, there was no proof of third-party testing. This would add another star for me.

Be warned the intake directions read large scoop however the included scoop is very small and more than enough for product measurement. A little is a lot when it comes to this stuff. The manufacturer can also be researched and you will find tremendous support and claims. This looks and works like a 5 star pharmaceutical

I paid 12.49 for 1/2 of powder. The way the item is displayed is very, very misleading, which is a large picture giveing the impression that the contents of the package no matter what size you buy will be large. If the pictuere was not so in your face, the customer might get an accurate feel for what 1/2 looks . Will not buy this product again. Thanks anyway.

This is a powder. It needs to be measured with a mg scale. It needs to be put in a gel cap otherwise the taste is metallic.

One of the reasons I like to take benfotiamine is because it has an anti-aging effect, by helping prevent Advanced Glycation End Products (AGEs) from forming. You can even look it up "Benfotiamine reduces advanced glycation end-products (AGE) by 40%." AGEs usually form in the body in response to things like sugar or fructose and can have a huge impact on skin aging (kind of like the sun can) and I'm very into longevity, right up to the aesthetics part of it. Benfotiamine is basically the fat soluble version of thiamin, although I see that they already mentioned that in the product title!

I appreciate the powdered form of this B-vitamin, but when I tried to just have a small bit - it is very bitter! You can get the benefits adding to liquid, but I would be hesitant that it would make any smoothie (or high volume liquid) too bitter to drink. Better to just add it to a small amount of liquid and down it quickly or put it into your own capsules. The benefits do outweigh the bitterness. There are ways around that.
