Easy to fit, looks great
Overall very easy to fit and looks great. The supplied washer means no need for plumbers putty. Whilst the main nut is plastic it is very strong and I don't anticipate any issues. Note this is one of the few drains to come with the nut to attach to the drain pipe. The deep basket is very handy for rinsing plates of excess food before putting them in the dishwasher. Easy to pull up the handle and carry it to the trash. With the basket out there is still a basic strainer so spoons etc won't drop down the pipe which has been mentioned as an issue with other models

a must have for any kitchen
would never buy another type again this thing stops so much food an other crap from ending up in your pipes, basket is very sturdy been using 4 for over a year now and they still look like new

GOOD QUALITY, ARRIVED IN A PERFECT PACKAGE,
HAVE NOT USED THESE, YET. HOWEVER, THEY SEEM TO BE OF GOOD QUALITY, ARRIVED IN A PERFECT PACKAGE, NO DAMAGE AND WILL WORK WELL. WOULD RECOMMEND FOR SINKS TO KEEP THE SMALL STUFF FROM PLUGGING THE DRAIN.

Thread not long enough
This is for a stainless steel sink if you have any sink that has a thicker base like a porcelain sink the thread on bottom isn’t long enough !

Not for sinks made of cast iron.
Ticor makes great stuff. The thread depth of basket is not deep enough to allow the nut to attach on the underside of my sink which is a cast iron construction. I am confident it will work with a stainless steel sink which has less thickness. If you have a cast iron type sink I did find a similar product make by K---S works fine, it has a different design that works with thicker sinks. I do like the deeper basket that is removable to catch debris. Ticor should consider extending their thread depth to broaden the range of application of their product.

Short attachment threads
Nice design. Website picture shows longer threads to attach strainer to sink. Item would work on thinner metal sink, but won't work on ceramic farmer style sink (which is about 5/8" thick).

excellent product esp for keeping food out of pipes
best product for an awesome price. crap strainers which are costly at my local hw stores. best decision to get this one.

It is a lovely design and good quality but it will only fit on a stainless steel sink anything thinker and there is not enough thread to be able to fit the waste ........... such a shame because it looks lovely it just will NOT fit any sink out on the market.
