Easy to set but battery not holding charge for more then 15 minutes... had to buy new battery myself

Don't buy it until Microsoft fixes their issue.I would have rated this a 5-star before 8/14. But since 8/14/2014 afternoon, Microsoft changed something, and no 4088 or 3088 can login anymore. Don't waste your money on this until MS fixes the problem.Will change back to 5 star once the issue is resolved.Update: after 8/17/2014, it's working again.A flaw. Under the same contact, if you stores multiple phone numbers, this handset cannot handle these numbers, it can only call the Skype account.

Ordered this from Chat and Vision. Arrived DOA. Contacted customer service and they took 3 days to say they would get back to me at some unspecified date in the future. 1st, their claim is a response within 24 hours... 2nd, they have still to follow up with me 10 days later !!!Also, the phone uses a 3.5 mm headphone jack, for which there are NO COMMERCIALLY AVAILABLE headsets. Got several adapters to step down to the standard 2.5mm jack size but microphone won't work.Has a great deal of difficulty pairing with the base station... Looses contact, will not log into account to make calls and then finally would not pair at all! Distance to base station for 10 feet to 2 inched... NO RESULTS.Previous RTX products manufactured by HTC in China were pretty good! That is why I ordered more. Too bad they lost it.Please avoid this product and company.

awesome phone, no complaints. got it for my mom, she loves it. Its a good quality device, so If it ever went out id replace it with the same. I have two and they are great for the house.

I bought the whole system last year and it stopped connecting to the internet just over a year later. Tried to contact the company about fixing it but no one would get back to me. Ordered a new handset to try and see if that was the problem and it wouldn't connect to the base. Very poor system. Not great sound quality. Moved to googletalk with the Obi system and it is much MUCH better... Not to mention free after initial purchase.

These work very well with our Skype phone number. There are no problems with hearing or being heard.Thanks!

Purchased another of the same to replace a handset that failed in less than a year, so I hope this one lasts longer. Move down to one star as they have had the broken set (sent back under warrantee) for 3 months and not issued a replacement. Pity really, as when it works this is a good phone, and has no real competition.
