Goulds 10HS05422C 4" Submersible Water Well Pump, 10 GPM, 1/2 HP, 230 V, 2 Wire

It came in fast and easy to install and has plenty of water pressure

I used this pump in a 1500 gal. water tank as a secondary pump to the house. It has been at work now for several months now and has preformed flawlessly just as the Goulds primary pump that has been in the well for 23 years. I could have purchased a foreign pump at a fraction of the cost but stuck with a name that has served me well.

Great Well Pump was fairly easy to install shipping was very good and fast it got delivered before they said it would first one lasted 30 years i hope this one will do the same

As described and on time

Had pump installed in new well and needed to shock the well so when I did and needed to pump the chlorine out I used my hydrant and every 1/2 hr the pump would kick out on thermal overload. The contractor said he thinks it ran out of water so will drop the pump from 100 ft to 120ft. After looking up the specs. on this supposedly 10 gpm pump, I found it it has a 7.5 gpm at 100 ft at 55 psi cut out and 3 gpm at 120 ft with a cut out pressure of 46 psi at that depth. The switch was set by them at 64 psi cut out and cannot achieve that pressure at 120 ft depth. These specs I got from Goulds web site. They also charged me over $1100 dollars for this pump. Also the impeller is made of a porous composite that is sensitive to certain chlorides which causes the impeller to become brittle and prone to cracking. Update: contractor admitted to putting in the wrong pump and will put the right one (that I paid for) in the next week or so.

Life saver our pump went so I purchased this one hoping it was easy to install like last one. It did not disappoint. Works great

My original pump burned out so I called a local pump company for a replacement pump. They wanted $1200 so I ordered this pump for under $500 and after an easy installation we are back in business.
