Is this oil refined or unrefined?

If it is cold pressed it is unrefined. Refined oils require heat.

What's the trick to opening the pump? I see arrow on top. I turned and turned . . .

I didn't have a problem with mine, but try holding the base of the pump and turning. Sometimes I get bottles that have more trouble than others. (If you have one of those rubber grip pads for opening cans, it helps the base to be less slippery.) Good luck!

Can this be used to treat dandruff problems?

I don't see why not. It's an oil and dandruff is a dry scalp condition. I would suggest applying to wet hair, massage into scalp. It may take several treatments especially if you are now experiencing cold weather as I am. The indoor heat really drys my skin out. I use this on my face primarily. It's been working very well.

Can this be used as a lubricant?

Don't understand your question, I use it as a face wash in the morning and leaves my skin moisturized.
