I bought this glow-in-the-dark tape to mark key areas of my home, so that in the event of a nighttime power outage, a person could easily find his way to a flashlight or electronic device. I placed pieces of the tape on switch plates near doorways, doorknob plates, flashlights, stairway steps, and other surfaces that are normally exposed to room light. It glows for hours after only a few minutes of exposure to artificial room light. Brighter light will produce a brighter glow from the tape. I used my fingers to tear the tape easily; it's more difficult to cut it with scissors. I have not tried to remove it from painted or stained surfaces, so I don't know whether it will leave a residue or remove paint. It's made in the USA, too! I was so pleased, I bought an extra roll.

I figured this would be an average glow in the dark tape, but I also chose Gaffer for a reason. It's pricey but the glow sets in lightning fast and the tape feels like it is high quality. I used this to outline my dog's stairs so it's easier to use at night. It's adhering to a textured cloth with ease!

Update: they responded and offered to ship my missing items.My packages arrived with only one tape instead of 4. I have not received any correspondence back from my email to the company. I have ordered this product many times and am very disappointed. This tape is not cheap!

I got this to mark light switches so my elderly parents could find them in the dark. It's stayed in place for a few months now, even with being wiped down at least once a week. It charges up with a short exposure to light and glows brightly for hours.

I am a retired pro photographer, this is one of the very rare REAL Gaffer tape's being sold on Amazon. Unlike the generic stuff that has a paper backing, tears super easily, and has terrible glue, the Gaffer Power is strong, has good glue, and a real fiber backing; this stuff works. . Works great for everything from framing hinges to taping modifiers on lights to general home improvement projects where you don't want residue from duct-tape but need more hold than painters tape.

I like to support "Made in USA" products. However, this one left me disappointed. It simply is not true that this tape "is very easily taken off, leaving no residue". That might be true if you apply it and remove it in less than 24 hours, but if you leave it on any length of time, the adhesive loses its stickiness and leaves a very messy sticky residue when you remove the tape.Another review mentioned that the strands tend to fray and look terrible. I have noticed that, as well.I will not be purchasing more of this, and will probably just throw this roll (and the 2 inch black one) away when I procure a suitable replacement. The only thing that I initially liked about this tape was the low price. You really do get what you pay for...

Not very sticky at all but also doesn't seem to leave a residue.I stand by the review of the tape for what I used it on it didn't stick well, less than a day. The seller however is excellent. They gave me a full refund and offered a replacement. Great service.
