What is the difference between this unit and the duraflame electric dfi030aru with the same specs, aside from the sound?

Aside from what the other person stated I believe another difference is that this one has heat regulation whereas the other one does not, however, both appear to have regulation of the flames.

it comes out the back. the unit is a superb heating unit.

I know that infered heats a bigger room and gets hot faster, is there a difference otherwise? Pros and cons of each please. I don't know what infered

From my understanding, infrared is 40% more efficient and heats faster (covering more sf as a result). However, the heat is direct and thus dissipates just as fast. Conventional heats the air unlike infrared and is supposed to last longer after the heater is off. Conventional also dehumidifies as a result. Not sure the extent to which all that is true with this specific product... I have the conventional one but not this one so can't compare.
