My grandson loved this gift!
This flying orb ball is an absolute hit! I bought it for my 9-year-old grandson, and he is completely obsessed. From the moment we turned it on, the bright, colorful lights and cool spinning action had him hooked. It’s so much fun to play with—he loves tossing it and watching it glide and come back like magic. It’s one of those toys that keeps him entertained way longer than expected, and even the adults couldn’t resist trying it out! It feels well-made, easy to use, and perfect for indoor or outdoor fun. If you’re looking for something unique and exciting, this is definitely it. Huge win—my grandson absolutely loves it!

Very fun encaptivating toy for kids 5+
It actually works if you toss it in the air flat it will go up and float down right back in your hands. If you tilt it forward about 20 degrees you can toss or underhand it and it will float forward and come back. Takes some practice for sure. The leds are a huge plus because you can even play at night. Battery lasts reasonably long time similar to a drone helicopter toy however it does take some time to charge. The toy does feel sort of brittle so only thing Im worried about but it does turn off when it falls to the floor. That is actually how you turn it on by shaking it as well.

Fun, fun, fun!
It takes a little practice. Nothing difficult. Grandkids giggle and want to play whenever they're here. Took it to my friends and he ended up ordering two! It only has a 25 minute charge, so having two might be a good idea. It has a flexible cage that prevents damaging, but it can knock over a glass. Just keep stuff like that out of the area. Fingers can't get inside, so it's kids safe as well. So much fun!

Difficult to operate
My son has a little spaceship-shaped hover drone that he's enjoyed playing with for years. It has sensors, hovers above the hand, safe to play with indoors, it's fun to play with, and used to cost less than $20, so has been a go-to gift for friend's birthdays. (https://www.amazon.com/Mini-Drones-Kids-Adults-Controlled/dp/B082WLF4VR/ref=sr_1_6_sspa?crid=3154S6LRM7Y4N&keywords=Amax%2Bindustrial%2Bgroup%2Bdrone%2Bct-2000&qid=1693936724&sprefix=amax%2Bindustrial%2Bgroup%2Bdrone%2Bct-2000%2Caps%2C119&sr=8-6-spons&sp_csd=d2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9tdGY&th=1) However, we deviated from the norm and bought this one for a friend having a Dragonball Z themed party, we thought it looked like a fireball. Also how cool is it to throw something and and have it come back to you? During the after-party we charged the drone so we could all play with it and see what it was like. It's crazy, it just zips around the house so fast and random. I was worried it was going to break something in their house! I couldn't get it to hover, it definitely doesn't boomerang; I wouldn't want to use it in a home and outside it would fly away, so maybe in a field? But that doesn't sound very fun. Overall, it's not what we expected and there's no point in having it...You could throw a tennis ball and essentially have the exact same experience. --- Update --- It seems we didn't know how to operate it correctly. Customer service was responsive, and sent instructions for how to do all the things. Good customer service experience. This from CS: We guess you might have some doubts about how to operate this flying toy. There are some tricks that need take some time to practice, but you will find it fun once you get hang of it. - Press the black switch on the end to turn the flying orb ball on. You may need to gently spin the propeller to align the switch through the bars of the protective cage to access it. When pressed, the LED lights will turn on. When you want the flying orb ball to start flying, shake or firmly tap the ball to activate the propeller. When you want to stop flying orb ball, just grasp it and firmly shake it up and down several times, which will deactivate the propeller. It will also stop flying after it bumps into an object and falls to the ground. When the propeller is not spinning, but the LED lights are on, you can locate the black switch and press it in the same manner for turning it on in order to turn it off. The flying orb ball is sensitive to small deviations in angles when tossed. Before tossing the orb, make sure it is oriented correctly in the UP position, which is indicated by the on button being at the top. When you toss the orb, toss it gently and without too much strength as the motor and propeller will provide movement. - Straight Line Boomerang: Grasp the spinning flying ball at the center with your hand, "up" facing upwards, then throw it from the ground by a 10-20 degree angle with the "up" side facing your body yourself. With some practice, it will fly back to you as it follows its original flight path after the flying ball reaches its maximum height. - Magic Levitation: Levitation is a skill that takes time to master as it requires balancing the orb over your hand while it is flight. After you have turned on the flying orb and it is oriented up, hold it with one hand as the propeller is moving and then place your other hand, palm side up, underneath the orb. You will feel wind from the propeller. Using your top hand to brace the flying orb, gently release it and try to balance it between your two hands until you can eventually follow and balance its movement using only one hand underneath it. With enough practice, levitation will become easier. Important Points: When flying orb ball leaves your hand, the "up" side (with the on switch) is the flight direction of the flying orb ball. By giving the ball different levels of throwing force and and different tossing angles, the ball will have different flight paths. Of course, the speed of the propeller is limited by the motor to avoid it flying vertically too high into the sky. Mastering the flying orb ball takes practice, but is super fun when you get the hang of it. you can scan transparency code on the product packaging box with the amazon shopping app for the demo videos how to operate the flying ball.If you still have any problem how to operate it, could you pls come back to us ? so that we can help you to solve it! Best regards!

Very fun.. unexpected
I bought three of these for a 'fun' stocking stuffers at Christmas. The grandkids (AND my grown kids) had a great time just playing around with them. The casing is fairly soft (compressible) so I wasn't really worried about them in the house. You can definitely just use it (albeit somewhat clumsily) right out of the box but with very little practice you can get some simple tricks going.

Extremely flammable, but great customer service
First let me start by saying the customer service is next level. They reached out, offered me a replacement, and followed up continuously to make sure I’m happy. Super responsive too. Now, let me get to my story. Have you ever seen those videos with the flying Barbies that fly directly into a lit fireplace? Well word of caution, that same science holds up for these flying light balls as well. The product description says it comes back, but on this little guy’s maiden voyage, it indeed did not come back. I removed it from the box, quickly read the instructions, fired up the propellers and exclaimed, “Look it flies!” in delight to my surrounding friends as it ascended towards the heavens in a beautiful glow of blue and green lights. That delight quickly turned to panic however, as the craft quickly changed direction making a direct course to an open campfire surrounded by eager onlookers. Before I could react, the craft plunged into the fire pit, to my relief, out of reach of the flames. I was already on my feet rushing to retrieve the downed craft when within an instant, it burst into flames as if it enticed the fire to come join it in one last dance. For a moment I thought, “it’s still okay, I can blow it out” as the propellers continued to spin and lights continued to dance through the flames. That thought only lasted an instant however, as the propeller seemed to almost feed the flames, which exploded in a crackling display of color and the propellers slowed to a stop. It only took about 30 seconds for it to burn away with seemingly no sign that it ever existed, aside from the traumatic experience that will forever be burned into my brain. In disbelief, frustration, and mourning the loss of what could have been an epic light adventure for all our friends, I ceremoniously placed the box it came in next to where the craft burned into nothingness in the fire. To my surprise, the box didn’t burst into flames in the same spectacular fashion. In fact, it just sat there and smoldered for what seemed like a lifetime. My recommendation from my very short experience operating this craft is that it must be kept in its box at all costs when around any open flame. Otherwise it may burst into flames if it so much as smells fire.
